Quoc Bao Bakery is a sandwich shop in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at 2501 N Classen Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73106. It is open every day of the week, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., making it an option for a morning stop, lunch, or an early evening meal. The bakery’s menu, as described by customers, reaches beyond sandwiches: visitors mention banh mi, barbecue rice, beef stew, and donuts. That mix may appeal to people looking for a Vietnamese-style sandwich as well as diners who want to try a few different prepared foods in one visit. The business has a 4.8-star rating across 525 reviews, though individual experiences and preferences vary.

Banh mi is one of the dishes customers seek out at Quoc Bao Bakery. A reviewer praised the BBQ banh mi, noting that it was a hit with their son, while another described the bread as freshly baked. The shop’s sandwich style may not suit everyone: one visitor felt the bread worked better for American-style sandwiches than for the banh mi they expected. If you have a particular preference for bread texture or a traditional banh mi style, keep that difference in mind. For diners curious about the bakery’s approach, ordering a sandwich and judging it for yourself may be the best way to see whether it matches your taste.

Customers also mention barbecue rice and beef stew as satisfying options, so the menu may be worth exploring beyond the sandwich counter. Donuts have received a less favorable review: one customer found the cake donuts they tried greasy and felt that several flavors tasted alike. Feedback about food and the visit is mixed overall. Some reviewers describe food as delicious, fresh, and carefully prepared, and praise the owner’s friendly welcome. Others have raised concerns about the dining area or food handling, while another customer questioned the freshness and wrapping of a banh mi. These are individual reports, not guarantees of what you will experience, but they provide useful context when deciding what to order.

Quoc Bao Bakery can be considered by Oklahoma City diners who want a casual stop for banh mi, rice, stew, or bakery items, and by families looking for a range of choices. Its Classen Boulevard location and daily 8 a.m.–7 p.m. schedule make planning a visit straightforward. Because customers disagree about particular items—especially donut texture and the style of the banh mi—choose based on what you enjoy rather than assuming every dish will suit every palate. If you visit, you can ask what is available that day and select the sandwich or prepared dish that sounds most appealing. The varied reviews offer a balanced picture: there are enthusiastic regular-style recommendations alongside specific reservations, giving first-time guests a realistic starting point.

Hands down the worst donuts I have ever had. I had heard great things about them and my wife and I stopped by this morning to try them. They only had cake donuts. Chocolate, Vanilla, strawberry, and blueberry. We bought one of each. They all tasted EXACTLY the same. They all tasted like grease. Down right nasty. Not edible. Picture of the donuts in the bag with grease already soaking the bag.

OMG! Today, I tried some new dishes from Quoc Bao Bakery, and I was honestly blown away! How can he make everything taste so incredibly delicious? The BBQ Bánh Mì for $8 was a big hit with my son! The BBQ rice and beef stew were also absolutely delicious. I truly love this place! ❤️ I highly recommend everyone come and try these new dishes. You won't be disappointed! Everything was amazing! 😍 I forgot to take pictures of the food, so I’m using photos from the bakery instead. Haha! 😂❤

Personally, I will not return. We bought 4 banhmi but we were later scared of eating it by fear of intoxicated. It didn't look too clean and it was hot inside. Not sure if the meat was fresh. Also, the wrapping was wet when we got home, which didn't leave them mich points.

I want banh mi and since this place has good reviews, we stopped here to get one. Definitely not my type of banh mi. The fresh baked bread are best for American sandwiches, but not banhmi. I took one bite and threw it away. If you want soft sandwiches, go to Subway.
