Rainbow Shops

Rainbow Shops is a women’s clothing store at 640 American Legion Hwy in Roslindale, Massachusetts (02131). For local shoppers looking for women’s apparel in Roslindale, this location offers an in-person place to browse clothing and make a purchase. Customer feedback describes the clothing as decently priced and of pretty good quality, which may appeal to shoppers who want to compare options while keeping value in mind. The available information does not identify particular collections, sizes, or signature items, so it is best to visit or contact the store for current selection details rather than assume a specific product is in stock.

A visit can suit someone who prefers to look through clothing in person before deciding what to buy. The store is a practical option for Roslindale-area residents and people nearby who want a local women’s apparel retailer, whether they are making a planned trip or browsing during an errand. One reviewer says they shop here often and find the prices reasonable and the quality good; another notes that some Rainbow Shops locations can serve more than one family member, though that comment does not establish the selection at this particular store. The overall listing is 3.7 out of 5 from 51 reviews, offering a mixed snapshot of customer experiences rather than a guarantee of what every visit will be like.

The listed hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Several customer reviews describe being turned away before the posted closing time or encountering a checkout-system issue late in the evening. Because those reports conflict with the listed schedule, shoppers planning to arrive near closing may want to confirm that the store is open and able to complete purchases before making the trip. Checking ahead is especially useful for a time-sensitive visit; the directory hours provide a guide, but customer reports suggest that actual late-evening access may vary.

For anyone searching for a women’s clothing store in Roslindale, Rainbow Shops is located on American Legion Hwy, with a range of daily opening hours listed throughout the week. Reviews point to value and clothing quality as reasons some customers return, while also raising concerns about closing-time consistency and service. Keeping both sides in mind can help set realistic expectations: browse at a convenient time, check the hours before traveling late, and confirm any specific item or availability directly with the store. This gives local shoppers a clear starting point for deciding whether the Roslindale location fits their needs.
