Steamed Rice Cakes: The cakes themselves were prepared well, but the real highlight was the accompanying fish sauce, which complemented them perfectly. Chicken Rice Pot: The chicken arrived with a perfectly crispy skin on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. Grilled Pork Noodle Bowl: The fresh rice noodles (bun) were the star of this bowl—they had a great bite and tasted very fresh. The grilled pork had a nice flavor profile, though it was a bit on the dry side.
Had an amazing experience at Renton Bistro! I came specifically to try their Vietnamese food and ordered the grilled pork chop with broken rice (cơm tấm đặc biệt), and it did not disappoint. The pork chop was perfectly grilled—juicy, flavorful, and slightly smoky with that authentic Vietnamese taste. The broken rice was soft and paired so well with the pickled veggies, fresh garnishes, and fish sauce. Every bite felt balanced and comforting, just like a true Vietnamese home-style meal. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe was clean and welcoming. If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine, Renton Bistro is definitely worth a visit. I’ll absolutely be back to try more dishes!
Great Vietnamese food. The bun bo hue was flavorful and the spring rolls were fresh. Friendly service. Would come back!
Great food but severely understaffed and slow service. There’s not a single bad dish out of everything I’ve had here. Everything tasted …
Went to Renton Bistro. Ordered their grilled pork vermicelli bowl with fish sauce and my husband got the egg noodle stir fried with tofu. My sister got the steamed rice cake and my brother got the rice with charbroiled pork with fried egg and veggies. Super delicious and very fresh tasting. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy! Also, outstanding customer service!!! Highly recommended!!! Love love love it 😍!!!
