The Yum Nua (spicy beef salad) was a 7/10 for me. It only had like 6 pieces of beef and a LOT of red onion. The flavor and spice level was pretty good though. Would have been better with more tomatoes and cucumbers if the beef was going to be lacking. I’m not trying to eat forkfuls of onion. Mango sticky rice was good but overpriced for the size. The thai tea was NOT good. It was extremely sugary and lacked that thai tea depth and flavor. It was giving Americanized thai tea vibes. I spent a little over $30 for a salad, drink, and dessert before tip was added.
Our favorite Thai restaurant in Charlotte! We love the tom kha soup and the drunken noodles here. The flavor is perfectly consistent every single time. Our kids love the aquarium they have. Highly recommended!
I rarely rate stuff 5 stars, but the staff here absolutely deserve it! Tldr: The food is probably as close as you're going to get to authentic Thai food. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food quality is excellent, service is …
We drove all the way to Pineville for some Thai food. In a pretty nondescript strip mall, the Rice and Spice space literally blooms with (painted) flowers! Upon arrival, it was pretty empty, but by the time we left, it was pretty busy! The clientele was friendly and effusive in their praise of the food. We had their spice level medium and it was perfect! (Our tolerance is usually an Indian restaurant 5-6) we had green curry, pad see ew, a noodle dish, a shrimp dish and finished with mango with sticky rice. Everything was delicious, had a good amount of the chosen protein. If anything, there could have been more vegetables. Our server had some great suggestions for next time and we are already planning another trip!
Very good food. Well seasoned. Pineapple Fried Rice was bang bang good. Medium level spicy! Yikes Ok service. Knowledgeable but, minor stuff like silverware should already be on …
