Sign in to reviewSo you have to park in the parking structure and look for signs to Rise Bagel. I wasn't prepared for that. Very friendly. So many options to try but for 1 person, I decided on the Korean bbq sandwich for this visit on jalapeño cheddar bagel. It's freshly made for you so you will need to wait for it. I ended seeing their desserts and decided to try the carrot cake slice with no nuts. ($7). The lemon bar also looked good so maybe next time. My sandwich was beautifully made and I took it to their little lake area. It was very flavorful! The eggs were fluffy and I liked the flavor composition. It is on the pricey side though for a bagel sandwich with no side or anything. It wouldn't be something I get often but I am glad to have tried them. The bagel was soft and chewy as well. I also tried the carrot cake slice when I got home. It's moist and has good flavor. Cream cheese frosting is good as well, not too thick.
Rise has delicious, fresh made bagels every day. The menu has an Asian flair with delicious flavors such as ponzu or ube as well as traditional bagel flavors. The owner has a knack for creativity and you can tell the passion in what he crafts. You may come across new things he is trying out like the lemon bars from yesterday. This bagel place is an excellent addition to Orange County and a must try for breakfast or lunch.
I genuinely think this place has the best bagels you can find in Irvine. Location is amazing, and just outsie is a super beautiful patio area to sit around, staff were super friendly and attentive, and the food was superb. I ordered the “get jigae with it”, bagel was crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside, eggs and bulgogi were super tender and flavorful. I’d reccomend this place to anybody looking for an amazing breakfast experience.
Worth the hype ! Saw these bagels on TikTok and needed to give them a chance , best smoked salmon bagel I've ever had ! There was a lemon oil or sauce topping that was amazing, the onions were sliced perfectly and the fresh farmers market tomatoes were incredible ! My sister and grandma got two other bagels and we were all talking about them the entire car ride home! They validate your parking, as it's located in an industrial area and tricky defined if you aren't using maps. The employees were super helpful with recommendations, I was also told their Vietnamese iced coffee is a must try.
Quality of ingredients and curation of flavors is incredible. Bagels have the perfect texture and seasoning and everything tastes so fresh. Service was excellent — had help ordering with recommendations, offered a sample of their blueberry yuzu lemonade (must try), and we were given this cute Korean grape cream soda to try as well! Validated parking for 90 mins. Highly highly recommend checking this place out 💛
