RL Nail Spa - Non Toxic Nail Salon

Tried this nail salon today. I checked the services online which is a regular pedicure that includes gel polish, as the next level included an eye mask. The salon was clean, I was greeted and given a menu. I said I wanted the regular pedicure with gel polish. I was told it doesn’t include gel polish, but the next level up does. I stated that I don’t want things I won’t use and prefer a pedicure have offerings only related to my feet and/or legs; I didn’t want to pay more for an eye mask. She said that was fine. She explained their products, asked me other questions, but during checkout she said it was an additional fee to remove my gel polish, but she discounted it. That information should have been given at the beginning when we were discussing services. When I asked why my polish looked lumpy, she said it’s because I ‘d been getting gel polish and having it removed with a regular nail tool from other salons versus their softer tool. I didn’t argue because I have painted my nails myself using regular polish and thought they looked much better. I really wanted to love this salon. $60.

I really wanted to like this place. The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. It smells nice when you walk in, and the overall atmosphere is great. I decided to give them a try because they’re close to my dad’s house and I get my nails done every two weeks. Unfortunately, my experience with my nail technician, Kim, was disappointing. From the beginning, I noticed some of the tips were being applied crooked. I mentioned it, and I was told they would be filed and corrected later. I trusted the process and tried to be patient. As the appointment continued, I brought up my concerns again because they still didn’t look right to me. Each time I was reassured that the nails weren’t finished yet and would be fixed. Once the dip powder was applied and the shaping began, the nails became much thicker than what I requested. I repeatedly expressed concerns about the shape and bulk, but I felt like my feedback wasn’t really being heard. After sitting there for over an hour, I was frustrated and honestly just wanted to leave. The final result was not what I asked for or what I’m used to getting. The nails felt bulky, uneven, and much thicker than I wanted. At that point, I paid and left because I didn’t want to spend even more time having them redone. I don’t have anything against the salon itself. My disappointment is specifically with the service I received during this appointment. While the staff was friendly and the salon is beautiful, I left feeling like my concerns weren’t addressed and that my time and money were wasted.

This was my first time at the salon where I got a Dazzle Dry Mani and French Gel Pedicure by the amazing Linh🌟 for my Birthday!! Amazing service and clean, professional environment. I love how kind and thorough Linh was! She is very attentive to detail and did an excellent job. She made me felt at home and is genuinely so kind and personable. I absolutely love her work and will be back again! I couldn't be happier with the quality of work. Also, the Dazzle Dry polish is extremely healthy for your nails (it's worth looking up!). I am so glad this salon offers this strengthening, healthier alternative to gel, dip, and acrylic.

Lovely experience at RL nail spa! The vibe was giving relax girl, we gotchu! I went in for gel x and a pedicure. The experience was not rushed and Chau was very informative as it was my first time doing gel x. She worked her magic to recreate the reference I showed her and she even took extra time to play with different techniques and colors to achieve the look I wanted. I cant stop looking at my nails , I'm so happy how they turned out! I definitely recommend this salon and I will be returning for sure!

Linh and Diana were absolutely spectacular. They took care of my young niece’s nails. They made sure she was absolutely taken care of. The designs were so meticulously done and the quality of work is so neat and detailed. The shop itself doesn’t use harsh chemicals and is kept so clean and tidy. I can’t wait to come back! Any nail artist you’re paired with will treat you well. Glad this place opened in my neighborhood.
