Rodriguez Auto Repair

Rodriguez Auto Repair is an auto repair shop at 8231 SE Lambert St in Portland, Oregon (97266). For drivers looking for a neighborhood repair option in southeast Portland, the available customer feedback describes a mix of experiences with service, communication, and repair timelines. The shop has a 4.0-star rating from 22 reviews, offering a useful snapshot of varied customer opinions rather than a guarantee of what any particular visit will be like.

Reviews mention work on both cars and trucks, including a customer who reported receiving full service for a truck and having needed parts replaced, after which the vehicle worked well again. Another review refers to a Subaru transmission replacement. These examples show the kinds of repair experiences customers have described, but they do not establish a complete service menu. If you are considering a specific repair, it is sensible to contact the shop to confirm that it can handle the work, ask what the proposed service includes, and request an estimated completion time and price before authorizing repairs.

Customer experiences are not uniform. Some reviewers praise the mechanics and customer service, describing the staff as professional, friendly, honest, and service-oriented, and one customer says the price was good. Other reviewers raise serious concerns about delayed work, missed completion dates, and difficulty getting timely updates. Those accounts are important context for anyone planning a repair, especially when a vehicle is needed by a particular date. Before leaving a car, consider agreeing on how updates will be shared and asking how the shop will communicate if the schedule changes. The reviews reflect individual experiences and should be weighed alongside your own conversation with the business.
