Bruce did an absolutely amazing job on my tension filled back. I just had a vertebral fusion at two levels three weeks prior and he took extra care to work around the area but still provide the relief I needed. I've had memberships at several massage parlors in the metro over the years but not found someone who truly worked out the knots and tension effectively and was knowledgeable enough to find the tension without me pointing out every spot every time. Bruce does all this and I have signed up for a membership because I definitely need more of this in my life.

I had a massage with Allison and it was amazing! She really took the time to ask about my focus areas and made sure to tailor everything to what I needed. I asked for extra work on my shoulders, and she absolutely delivered while still giving me a super relaxing full-body experience. I left feeling refreshed and so much better. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend booking with her!

Bruce is THE man. I had a one hour massage with him, and his technique was excellent. He was able to listen to my issues and told me what he was about to do before he did it. He was able to replicate the exact “level on 1-10 of how much pressure I wanted. As a woman, I found him extremely respectful. He asked me if it were okay to be touched in various areas before he massaged them. I found this to be quite professional. I re-booked him for mid June. When I first started getting massages I was VERY hesitant about having a man massage my body for almost two years. Royal Oak does a phenomenal job on hiring (in my opinion) truly professional men. Edited to add- the front desk workers are always really happy to help and seem genuinely pleased to be working there. I loved that for them. I know it’s difficult to be working at a customer facing position all day, but I went at the end of the work day and they were so upbeat. I really had a great experience.

Sadly a waste of money. Won’t mention the massage “therapist” name here because ultimately the issue lies with management. Management is not doing their due diligence in hiring qualified, trained therapists for massage services. Within 15 minutes from the start of my massage, it became very clear that the young girl had little to no experience or training in massage. No flow, no trained technique. Just “grabby hands” all over my body. She spent more time rearranging the sheets than she did “massaging”. I told her that the experience was low quality and that I was uncomfortable. I left in the middle of the appointment and received an email shortly after that they canceled my appt. But of course, no refund. This is my experience, yours could be different. I learned a valuable lesson in inquiring with a business on the level of training and experience BEFORE booking another massage.
