Sign in to reviewSa-Ten is a wonderful spot tucked away from the city noise, making it an ideal place for reading and working remotely with a cup of good coffee. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere with plenty of patio seating making it especially great for visiting with pets. Though the indoor area is relatively small it is well designed and beautifully decorated. The staff are welcoming and attentive making your visit a pleasant experience. The Teri toast is a must-try. We also enjoyed the chicken katsu curry bowl and the chicken karaage plate, both were excellent. Overall, this definitely a place worth visiting again.
You're not coming here for the food, you're coming here for the vibes. Sa-Tén is a Japanese owned café that makes food just good enough to spark interest, but the lounge feel in an increasingly fun area is the real pull. It's like Japanese Starbucks in that you can get a decent meal and a drink and join others isolated on their computer or just stopping in for a quick chat and go. Avoid the curry as it's very underwhelming, but the sides are pretty good. The tofu is the best protein I tried if you're willing to not order a meat. Parking is ample.
Wow the portions here are awesome! The food quality was clean which mattered because we were looking for something that was filling but not greasy. Their coffee was also very tasty. They are Asian inspired which means they have a twist of unique flavors; we even had a Japanese cheesecake.
I tried Sa-Tén’s iced Saifa and a Bacon, Egg, and Sausage toast for breakfast and I was highly pleased. Both these items were delicious. The atmosphere of the cafe was warm and cozy, very nicely decorated, and the service was good. Only …
Perfect spot to drop by while checking out local artists work. This is fast casual with some foodie options. The coffee looks good with local roasters. Their tea options are hand selected. The curry dish is very authentic according to my friend. The service was great and seems like a popular spot. They handled the line well and kept it flowing with quick delivery of food and beverages.
