Saigon Chicken House is a Vietnamese restaurant at 223 Adams St in Dorchester, Massachusetts, serving Vietnamese favorites for neighborhood diners and takeout customers. The restaurant is open every day of the week, from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Whether you are looking for a warming bowl of pho, a bánh mì, or something to share, the menu offers a range of familiar Vietnamese dishes to explore.

Chicken pho is a standout in customer feedback. One reviewer called it the best they had tried in Boston and specifically praised how well it held up as takeout, a useful detail for anyone ordering to enjoy at home. Other mentions include bún, bánh mì, fish-sauce fried chicken wings, and fried rice. These customer favorites give first-time visitors a few appealing places to start, while the wider menu can suit diners who want to try something beyond pho. Reviews also point to generous portions on some items. Tastes and portion preferences vary, so guests may want to ask the staff about a dish if they are deciding between options.

The experience described by customers is welcoming and food-focused. A diner praised the staff as friendly and recalled a young team member warmly interacting with their niece during the meal. That personal touch suggests the restaurant can be a comfortable choice for families, as well as for friends or solo diners stopping in for Vietnamese comfort food. Takeout is another practical choice, particularly for people who want to bring home pho or other dishes. Customer feedback is varied, as it is for any restaurant: some guests have noted that particular items taste sweeter or saltier than they prefer, and one reviewer felt a dish was not to their liking. Reading the menu and choosing according to your own tastes can help make the visit a better fit.

I came here because I heard this is one of the only restaurants that has bò né on the menu. It did not disappoint. Wish it wasn't as pricey though.

Location: not in the best location... I was looking forward to visit Little Saigon since we're from out of state but it's not the best place. Seems a bit stretchy and scary around walking around. FOOD: overall it was DELICIOUS A3. Cánh Gà Chiên Nước Mắm Fried Chicken Wing w/Fish Sauce B6. Cơm Chiên Gà Xối Mở - my son loved it. However, when I tried the rice, I can tell it was bad... My son couldn't tell. D4. Cơm Tấm Tôm & Thịt Nướng Broken Rice w/ Grilled Pork & Grilled Shrimp E12. Bún Bò Xào Lăn Vermicelli w/Stir Fried Beef M6. Gà Hấp Lá Chanh Chicken Steam w/Lemon Leaf SERVICE - Staff were friendly & welcoming - However, they don't check on you much like American restaurant. Atmosphere: it's okay but clean

Amazing Chicken Pho!!!! Best I've had so far in Boston. Please note this was takeout, not in restaurant dining (some places taste great live but don't handle well in delivery). Can't wait to go back!
