I've been coming here forever, before it was all trendy... Back when it was a quiet zen spa like environment. As the salon evolved, so did I, I went from basic SNS to a new love for super creative nails. I found Mon... A young nail tech there and she is AMAZING. I recently went in for my holiday set, and they told me she was out on vacation and I almost cried. I still got them done but they were a little basic compared to the work that Mon usually does. If you are someone who loves 3D designs, creativity, and nails that will catch everyone's eye, book with my girl Mon her talent is unmatched. Also the overall environment is always chill, all of the nail techs offer their best customer service every time. The salon is clean, comfortable, and has good vibes.
I visited this salon a few months ago because I'd had good experiences here in the past. This time, I only came in for a pedicure. Pros: - They do excellent work. I've never had any complaints about the quality of my nails or the technical skill of the staff. - Their prices are reasonable. - The location is convenient—it's next to Starbucks, down the street from a grocery store, and right by the Little Five Points shopping area. Cons: Unfortunately, this visit was a very different experience. When I was seated, the pedicure chair had clearly not been cleaned. There were nail clippings on the armrest, and the water from the previous client hadn't even been drained. I politely refused to sit there and asked either for the chair to be cleaned or to be moved to another station. Instead of addressing the issue immediately, they kept insisting I sit in the dirty chair. I stood my ground, and they eventually moved me to a different one. Another issue was the atmosphere. One of the employees, who wasn't even working on me, kept giving me what felt like unfriendly looks throughout my appointment. I have no idea why, especially since we never interacted. To be clear, the woman who actually did my pedicure was kind, professional, and did a great job. My complaint isn't about her service. A pedicure is supposed to be a relaxing experience, but I felt uncomfortable and on edge the entire time. Compared to my previous visits, the customer service seemed to have declined significantly. I'm hoping this was just an off day and not representative of how they normally operate. However, based on this experience, I won't be returning.
Clean and comfortable environment, located in the Little Five Points area of Atlanta. Customer Kindness is great, clean tools, wonderful massage chairs to go along with pampering. Full service, I get hair removal by waxing and eyebrow arching with wax great , clean feel
I have been a loyal customer for years, even before this became Salon Five, and I have consistently supported your business because of the quality of service I previously received. Unfortunately, my recent experience was extremely …
Used to love this spot and it’s fallen off. Last appt my toe was cut and manicurist refused to do French tip manicure in regular polish (which I’ve had other, very lovely nail techs do here before). She was acting huffy, throwing her hands in the air, not explaining why it couldn’t be done, just that she didn’t want to do it. Upon googling after I left, I now understand it saves time to do in gel, but my nails can’t handle that. I was still charged for full price of manicure even though cuticles were left unfinished, no hand massage, no polish etc. I had to come home and finish clipping my nails and fixing my cuticles. Wanted to give them a second shot because the first scenario was so out of character for their service. I called in advance that morning to make an appt for 2 at 5:30 pm. By 6:15 pm, I still hadn’t been seen. The manager started hurriedly working on my friend as they had no techs for our appt time and he cut my friends foot in the process bc he was going HAM with the exfoliator. Entire interaction was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I’ve been going here for YEARS and won’t be going back which is disappointing bc they used to be great!
