We have tried Salt&Straw at various locations and states. Very consistent across it all. Open concept design. Benches against giant windows to feel the breeze (it was a hot day). I’m sure wintertime they shut it tight. Bathroom inside (need a code). The staff were very patient and friendly. You can ask as many samples as you want. Even if there’s a line, it usually move fast. Creamy, strong flavor, good quality ice cream. The menu has interesting options. Even though we have been to many locations, we still haven’t tried them all. There are tubs and merchandises on display if you like a souvenir.

There are many "fine" and artisan ice creams I've heard people rave about and many, many, ice creams I've tried, but Salt & Straw is on the top plane. Others rely on heavy branding or loads of fattening toppings/mixins, but Salt & Straw doesn't rely on filler. It tastes like it took a lot of time to learn the craft and to create really interesting and delicious flavors.

Located in a nice area with fast service. They have plenty of unique flavors, and I will recommend Saffron Milk with Wildflower Honey. It is not too sweet and refreshing. There are also some seatings in the store. Great place to visit if you are around the area

I visited on a Tuesday around 12:40 PM. We were served by a staff member wearing a super cute hat, and they were so incredibly kind that it truly warmed my heart... Everyone here is just amazingly friendly! We got to try a few samples-Sea Salt Caramel, Olive Oil, Honey Lavender, and some chocolate flavor. They were all good, but the Honey Lavender and especially the Olive Oil were mind blowing!!! The Olive Oil flavor had that distinct, authentic aroma with the perfect balance of sweet and salty. It was so delicious that I ordered a double scoop of Honey Lavender and Olive Oil. I got it in a cone, and the waffle cone was so crispy! I heard they bake them fresh in-house, so please do yourself a favor and get the cone instead of a cup!! If you visit, I highly, highly recommend the Olive Oil flavor!!!

Justin helped us figure out which flavors to try and actually get. He was very sweet, happy and patient with us. The ice cream was delicious. We got the coconut and strawberry sherbet(nice and fresh) the pumpkin bread (super fall-y) and the strawberry balsamic(tangy, acidic and peppery). Everything was amazing!
