Sign in to reviewWe ordered sandwiches over the phone and picked them up. It's a tiny place with no seating inside, so prepare to take your orders to go. Since we were picking up lunch to take to the airport, we were not able to try the sandwiches until much later. They still tasted good, but the time delay didn't give us the freshest experience. We ordered 3 Jeff Specials (Turkey, Bacon, and Cheddar) and a Reuben Sandwich. We asked for Rye bread on the Reuben, but it came with a different kind of bread. Must have been a miscommunication over the phone. The employees were nice when we came for pick-up. Lots of chips and drinks available to choose from inside.
My sandwich was delicious ordered a turkey cranberry. My only disappointment was the potato salad. There was no potato it was all onions and egg . It was the saddest salad I've ever tried . It completely broke my heart when I opened it and tried it
This family-owned sandwich shop has been a neighborhood staple for over thirty years. The owner and staff are consistently kind, helpful, and efficient. While the menu is simple, it features a standout turkey salad sandwich, in addition to other classics like pastrami, roast beef, vegetarian, and egg salad sandwiches. Although parking can be a challenge, the food is well worth the trip.
Found this place on Google and got their specials ! We enjoyed it . The Dutch crunch bread was soft and all the ingredients seem fresh! You can choose which kind of turkey meat you want , dark or white . Will go there again! 2 sandwiches 2 chips , 2 drinks around $32 .
Webster street sure has changed since Alameda was a Navy town! Places like the Sandwich Board have replaced Navy bars, girly joints and tattoo shops that fronted for other things that go bump-bump! So, I whipped into the Sandwich Board to see if anything looked the same...it doesn't, but I'll tell you what..The Sandwich Board kicks out a screaming good sandwich! ☆☆☆☆☆
