Sign in to reviewI’ve been coming to Sassy Nails for nearly two decades for various services. The mani-pedi service is immaculate. I’d come for the massage chairs alone, but everyone here has done an excellent job making me look and feel beautiful. There are always calming videos (my favorite is the flowers gently blowing in the wind!) playing over piano music; it’s easy to get into a relaxed headspace where I don’t feel any need to look at my phone. I’m a big fan of the Cat Eye polish, and have been working through the collection on recent visits. I appreciate the active communication and how they verbally check in with me, and make me feel comfortable to express preferences and/or needs. Grab some Timeless treats, and bring your friends! The staff have been gracious about letting them pull up a chair to chat if one of us is done before the others. Sassy Nails is the best, and I always leave happy.
My best friend and I live in different states, and whenever I come to town we always have Sassy on the agenda. The women and staff are so kind, they remember us every time, and take care of our mani pedis perfectly. What a great salon to support!
This is the only nail salon I trust with my nails. I look forward to each appointment happy to support this place. I always know that my friends will be treated well so I recommend to everyone who asks. I’m reading some other reviews that are not so good but I’ve never had a bad experience. If I wasn’t happy with something they fix it no problem and don’t make it a huge deal either. Sometimes it can be a bit embarrassing to speak up in the moment, like my biggest fear is that the person will announce your issue to the whole room. But they’re cool about it and very calmly address whatever you want so you leave happy. They really want everyone to leave satisfied with the service. Lots of love for Sassy!!
These are my nails after less than 1 week of getting them done here. I asked for dip when walking in and for whatever reason, they went back and forth then proceeded with acrylic anyway because I assume it was easier / faster for them. It was nearing close, and I was in a hurry anyway so I let it go. A bit frustrating result for my first try at a nail salon in the bay. Can’t say I’ll be back.
Recently walked-in and got a deluxe pedicure here and my service was fine and the pedicure was decent. The reason I’m giving a three star review is because they (1) basically forced me to pay in cash, and I waited for 20 extra minutes for my husband to go to a ATM; (2) charged me 2.99$ for 50cent paper flip-flops, which typically are free; and (3) my service was 48$ plus the 2.99$ paper flipflops which was 51$ and I gave them 60$ in cash as was the only option with the ATM and they took the money and didn’t offer my change… tips are not mandatory and 20% tips are a choice which they took away from me… I wouldn’t go back unless I was in a rush or all my main choices were booked… respectfully.
