Its listed rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 118 reviews, offering local customers a useful snapshot of other drivers’ experiences while recognizing that individual visits can differ.

Customers describe a range of work, including routine maintenance and repairs such as a radiator job on a Sportsmobile E250 platform. One reviewer says the vehicle was ready the next day at what they considered a fair price. Other reviewers mention bringing personal vehicles as well as company vehicles, and appreciate being able to discuss diagnostic codes and repairs with the staff. These accounts suggest that Scholls Ferry Automotive Center may suit drivers seeking help with everyday vehicle needs as well as specific repair work. The information available does not list makes or models serviced, so customers with a particular vehicle or concern can contact the shop to confirm whether it is a fit.

Several positive reviews highlight staff members Chris and Thomas and describe the team as accommodating, transparent, and willing to answer questions. One customer appreciated being shown a documented issue on the underside of a vehicle, rather than having to rely only on a verbal explanation. Another praised the clean, inviting lobby and noted that the shop was close to home. Taken together, these comments point to a practical, approachable experience for people who value clear conversations about what a mechanic has found and what repairs may be needed. They are customer impressions, not a guarantee that every visit will be the same.

Feedback is not uniformly positive: one reviewer reported concerns about open caps and exposed wires after service and said the response to those concerns felt rude and dismissive. That experience is worth considering alongside the many favorable accounts, especially if careful communication and follow-through are priorities for you. If you are comparing auto repair shops in Portland, Scholls Ferry Automotive Center’s weekday schedule, SW Scholls Ferry Road address, and customer comments can help you decide whether to call. Ask about your vehicle’s symptoms, the work involved, timing, and pricing before authorizing a repair, and confirm current hours directly if you plan to visit.
