Serene Nail Bar

I got my nails done here last week and I am very disappointed by how they look. The man who helped me either did not listen or did not care me or the service. I asked for a manicure with a full set, and as someone that does not get their nails done often I was unaware of the order of things but he started with the acrylic which I knew felt off but I didnt worry about until It looked like he was about to put polish on. I then stopped to him and asked if the manicure part came before or after the nails were done. He was like “oh? you wanted a manicure?”. He then gave me a half done cuticle cut. This was the beginning of the problem. As the appointment went on and he painted my nails way above the cuticle. this led to my nails that were gone last week looking like they are a month grown out. I wish I had taken pictures day of, but how they look now is how they looked when I got them done . I was hoping to grow to like them more, but it honestly just wasn’t it.Two out of five stars because the woman that checked us out was very nice! Also I will say he was understanding when I couldn’t decide on a color, but here we are.

I chose this salon because of its reputation and was willing to drive from outside the city expecting a higher-end experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling rushed throughout most of my appointment. From the moment I arrived, I felt pressured to quickly choose a color and get seated before I had finished looking. During my pedicure, I was asked about add-on services before I had even been shown the pedicure menu, and I had to request it myself to see what options were available. For a salon with premium pricing, I expected a more consultative experience where services, options, and recommendations would be clearly explained before the service began. The final disappointment was that my nails started chipping within a week (btw it was a full set with gel ), which is not the quality I expected for the price paid. The salon was clean, and my cousin enjoyed his experience, but mine felt rushed and lacked the level of attention I would expect at this price point.

What a professional job and so fast! I had a 315 appointment, at 340 both technician were done. I had the Sports Pedi and Gel Manicure. They have a really nice setup, and I must say the Technicians were just so nice. We had a nice chat. Thank you Tim for cleaning up my toe nails so expertly. Mo did a bang-up job on my nails, she was meticulous! Mo is just a sweet soul, one of those folks, you hope that you run into to remind you that there are still really sweet people left in the world. The shop is very elegant everything was done hygenically and that is the real plus! I would come back here anytime...great job Serene.

this is my second time here. the first time was okay, but I am so unhappy with my nails today. I asked for oval and showed pictures. I pointed out my thumb was crooked. I pointed out the nail polish left on my skin. There’s an uneven layer …

I'm not really a review writer, but Kimmy did such a fantastic job that I literally can't keep it to myself!! I came in with a terribly left manicure that I got while I was out of town, and Serena was just so understanding and patient as I was describing the state of my nails. Kimmy was so gentle, patient, and understanding of the style and nail shape I wanted. She was incredibly meticulous and thorough with her work throughout the whole process. I left the salon absolutely beaming! I cannot wait for her to do my nails again!
