One customer reports years of disagreement over water bills and says the highest bill exceeded $13, though the review excerpt does not provide the full amount. Another says online account registration was unsuccessful and that repeated calls did not resolve the issue. A separate reviewer describes a difference between the balance printed on a paper invoice and the amount shown online, and says the discrepancy had occurred for several months. These are reported experiences, not a determination about an individual account, but they point to issues prospective customers may want to clarify directly.

Other reviews mention a delayed response to a recycling-container request and an estimated wait of six to eight weeks, as well as a brief complaint about sewage. Because these are individual reports, customers should verify which department handles their specific concern and ask for clear next steps and timing. The business may be relevant to New Orleans residents who need to contact the local water utility, check account information, or follow up on a service matter. For a more prepared conversation, keep the relevant bill or request details available and note the date and amount in question. I don' have anything positive to say about SWBNO!! Straight trash!! Billing, customer service, promise pay, all entities of this company is garbarge!! I have had countless disputes battling this company for many years for overcharging me for water bills. My highest bill I had from them was over $13,000 over 10 years ago! I'm currently experiencing a $3,777 at a home i just moved in 6 months ago. Like how is it EVERY home I've moved to in New Orleans over the past 10 years have extremely high water bills? I have gotten multiple plumbers to check for leaks and no leaks are found on any of the properties. I'm so over these ppl at SWBNO! Something has to be done about the thievery that's taking place with our water bills in the city of New Orleans. RIDICULOUS!!

Online system doesn't allow for account registration with profle or creating a new profile that the service representative tried to do. Been calling constantly and getting the run around. I just want to pay my bill online and you're all …

Anyone else pay their bill online? I always pay before the due date. Total due this month on my paper invoice $172.11. When I go to pay it online it says the total due is 183.09. I pay 172.11 5 days before the due date. Not sure what the extra $9 charge is for. This has been going on for months now, how many honest folks are you scamming out of $10 a month by up charging them online. We need options and I think the Lower Decatur Class Action should really be turned into a city wide class action lawsuit.

We submitted a request for a recycling container 2.5 weeks ago that hasn't been responded to yet. I called to check on the status of the request and was told it would take 6-8 weeks to get a recycling container. It is not acceptable to wait 2 months for a recycling container to utilize a service we pay for.
