Shangri-La Bath & Sauna

I visited Shangri La Spa and had a mixed experience overall. I treated a friend for her birthday, and we ended up trying a little bit of everything. The facility itself feels dated, but the staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. As for the services… I would not recommend the salt room or the heated rooms—they just didn’t deliver the experience I expected. However, the body scrubs were the standout. Those I would absolutely recommend to anyone, male or female. They were thorough, refreshing, and left your skin feeling amazing. Also worth noting: there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to services, so just be prepared for that when budgeting. I gave the staff extra because they deserved it! The food was good - but… I would just stick with the body scrubs and go it will be…best hour of your life! Overall, it’s a mixed bag—great staff and excellent body scrubs, but some of the other amenities didn’t quite match the price point.

We came to Shangri-La in Tampa, my husband I had never tried a Korean spa before. I was pleasantly surprised at everything first off. The cleanliness of this facility is great constantly cleaning very well staffed the services are very much worth it. I myself got the gold scrub Service. It was worth it. It came with a complete scrub down and I am Hispanic and I literally came out paler. They scrub everywhere and I mean everywhere very professional. They do wash your hair during that service, you can tell them if you don’t want it. They also comes with a lovely mask and a massage would like an oil bodywork after. There is a men’s side and a female side both have a hot tub and a cold pledge pulled showers and a wet sauna along with the wet area to do all the scrub services. There’s a locker room and a massage area for individual services, they do not do couples. And there is a common area they give you a cute little outfit to go hang out and explore in that common area. All the food is phenomenal. Almost all the food is made by hand. Everything is made to order. Please consider sharing before you order because the portions here are huge. We split the chicken teriyaki and the dumpling dinner. The dumpling dinner is phenomenal. I wish I would’ve just gone with the appetizer though because the dumplings are about the size of my hand. You get 10 of them the kimchi great the rice is beautiful. When you’re in that common area there is a pool so you can bring your swimsuit and go swimming in the common area and there is a salt and a clay sauna it is very hot in those rooms but worth it if you love a dry sauna for either they also do have ice cream and other desserts that are available. They do have the very very trendy fruit ice cream that’s going around as a current. please be aware it is at a premium price. It’s OK though I am not mad at any of the services that we’re provided for me today. I am extremely happy the staff there’s absolutely lovely and very caring. I’m really shocked to see not many people coming back. I know I’m gonna be coming back and I’m gonna be telling everybody about this. You can bring your kids with there is a kid price as well I did not see any kids. Also, to my other friends to go to bath house is very often because I am also a person that likes to frequent other types of bathhouse establishments. This is not a cruising bathhouse. This is actually a like family sauna relaxation get services done and relax eat really good food and hang out with friends. This is not meant for pick up culture things like that. I did not take many photos in the bathhouse for obvious reasons, but I did make sure to take photos of the food pricing and the menu pricing for y’all.

My daughter and I had the most amazing experience today at the Shanghai-La Bath & Sauna located in Tampa. We were treated like valued guests as our bodies were massaged and our skin was washed and exfoliated. We each paid for the Platinum Package and it was well worth the price. We loved every single minute of our time there. I highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone who wants to get a massage, facial and shampoo professionally done leaving you with a feeling of relaxation and peace!

My friend and I went for my birthday. This was our first Korean spa experience and it was a 10/10. Everyone was so friendly. For our body wash service, we had Moon and Stella. They were both exceptional! We also used the hot and cold tubs, the sauna, the clay room and shared a meal at the restaurant. We enjoyed every moment. I met the owner Mia as we were leaving and she was so sweet and kind. We will be back for sure. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
