Absolutely loved the cake from Shubham! 🎂 I had to place a last-minute order for an eggless Black Forest cake, and Shubham made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. They were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and made sure everything was ready on time. The cake was absolutely delicious! Everyone was so impressed — honestly, nobody could believe it was eggless! The taste, freshness, and overall quality were just fantastic. And we love the appetizers too! They carry almost all groceries including fresh vegetables, coconuts and all kinds of Pooja items.
The food was really good. We have ordered Pongal, poori, vada and bonda. The food taste felt same like what you get in india. Pongal was hot and melted in our mouth, vada was crispy and sambar was like homemade sambar with very good consistency. Poori curry was awesome. when it comes to bonda , they said they don’t make it at breakfast time regularly but they make them once in a while , but it was too good as well. Overall very well made and quality was well maintained.
Food smelled good at their hot counter but didn't get to try it this time. They have a general selection of India groceries. The vegetables did look more fresh than some other Indian groceries I've been to. Friendly service. Will update review once I've tried their hot food
Was quite happy when the store opened. Liked their freshly made items and tried pretty much everything. But slowly ( which is kind of soon already) the cleanliness is getting worse. Still it was my go to store. But after my recent visit, i have my doubts. I am standing at the counter for good 10 min. No one is there for check out. No one bothers to come and say that they are busy or wait for few min..nothing. BUT someone they know comes to the store, the owner( a lady) comes out from kitchen, starts helping them. No acknowledgement that another customer is waiting. She vanishes and i am still waiting. Waited for another 5-6 min. Gave up then.
Unfortunately, I went in this location hoping to find a particular ingredient, kasoori methi. I asked the clerk for help. He came to show me where it was. He looked and then decided they didn't have any. I stayed in the same isle and found it very quickly. I asked if they sell tomato paste and he said no. I pointed to the paste that I saw on the top of the shelf. He said they they only use it for their resteraunt and they don't sell it. There were no pleasantries. It was clear that I wasn't welcome. I am aware that I am African American with dark skin, but the reality is, they aren't much lighter than me. It is very sad and disappointing to have had this experience. I definitely would not recommend this store to anyone who is black or possibly not Indian. They don't want our money or our business.
