We met with Hannah to design custom ao dais for our wedding. We expressed that we wanted our outfits to be a representation of our culture and to be as close to traditional as possible, while feeling like us. Hannah was so patient and provided so many options, and gave her input to help us make decisions. It truly was an amazing experience to do it in person and Hannah was so sweet about it all. Needless to say, the design and execution was remarkable. We LOVE our ao dais and would wear it everywhere if we could. I’ll have to come back for more custom designs with Hannah and her team.

She let us try on several styles and helped us design the perfect ao dais for our wedding. The final result was stunning, and they looked absolutely beautiful on our big day. I got a custom made Ao Dai from Hannah, and it was the best experience I've had. Hannah made sure she picked the colors and style that I wanted, but made amazing suggestions as well. She spent over an hour to make sure that she got it exactly how I wanted it to be. When she sent me the design, we decided to make some changes, but she charged me the original price because that's what we originally agreed on (even though she ended up doing a lot more!). Overall, I was extremely satisfied with how the ao dai turned out and couldn't ask for a better person to work with. Best ao dai creations and highly recommend her for any occasion.

I needed an Ao Dai for a special New Year event at work - this boutique came up with amazing reviews while I did Google search. Thank you Hannah for taking the time out of your day on a Sunday and showing me the inventory on a video call, choosing the right size for me and shipping my order the very next day. SO glad to have found this place for Vietnamese áo dài in ATX! Hannah has a big selection of premade dresses and has the sky as the limit for custom áo dài. TL;DR Hannah is fluent in English & Vietnamese, and she has a large selection of premade áo dài in sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 that will not be restocked once she sells out of them as she would like to focus on fully custom áo dài, especially Bridal. Love this boutique and Hannah so much that I wish I could give 10 stars! I called the number listed on Google and it turned out to be Hannah’s cell. She was super friendly and very accommodating and flexible when it came to scheduling for me to go look at the premade dresses in person; I was actually able to go see her later that same day I called! She also effortlessly mirrored my Viet-lish in our convo and switched back-and-forth between Viet-lish and all English because my comfort leans towards English (though I’m trying to get better at speaking Viet). Hannah operates out of her home in Anderson Mill & 620 area of NW ATX (as w/ any Asian house: shoes off, please!) and has 3 long clothing racks of premade áo dài to choose from. The premade styles range from all solid colored, hand painted, patterned, velvet, different collar types and sleeve lengths, and more. Her in-person selection has a lot more in variety and style than what she has online. I think her sizing chart is on her website, but here are my measurements for reference (I’m on the thicker side and weight lift, hence bigger arms): I’m 5’5”, 160lbs, 38.5”/98cm bust, 37”/94cm hips, 31”/79cm waist, and 14.5”/37cm upper bicep fitting a size 8 of the premade áo dài. This time, I wanted a premade one as my husband & I are trying to have kids so we thought it better to wait on the custom one once we’re done having kids because I’m a known yo-yo-er when it comes to my weight and size. She has such a huge range of styles that I wanted to buy, like, 10 🤣 especially knowing she wasn’t going to restock what she was out of, but I ended up buying 3 dresses and 3 pants. Pricing for premade dress and pants are separate and I paid via Venmo. My dresses ranged from $65-$90 w/ pants at $35/pair: such a great price for premade in the ATX area w/ no waiting if there are no alterations! Speaking of alterations: Hannah was so generous to waive the alteration fee for the one áo dài where I was getting the upper arm loosened because of how much I bought; really appreciate the little things! It was very helpful getting to try on everything I picked out (and it was not a small number), and Hannah provided expert advice on fit, color, complimentary pants colors, etc. I would advise you to bring the shoes/heels you’re planning to wear as that will give her an idea if you need alterations/hemming done. There were a few I loved where she was out of my size and said she could do a custom w/ a very similar pattern and color so I’m definitely keeping that in my back pocket when I’m ready to order custom. The completed custom Bridal ones I saw were beautiful and great to know she does bulk orders (e.g. wedding parties). All-in-all: fantastic customer service, selection, and pricing, and I can’t wait to get some custom ones. Run, don’t walk, to get your áo dài from Hannah at Silky Ao Dai Boutique!
