Sign in to reviewWe had dinner at Sip with our family and had a delicious meal. The special Wagyu steak and salmon with pepper sauce came on hot skillets with bread and salad. The stir-fried glass noodles with crab and shrimp and special Yangzhou fried rice had great portions and flavor. The egg and cream Vietnamnese coffees were a perfect compliment to the meal and strong! Pro tip: It’s fun to eat family style so you can try a little of everything!
Definitely a place to check out for your breakfast, brunch, lunch and even your dinner needs. Located in Westminster is this vietnamese restaurant and coffee shop. The place is modern and aesthetically pleasing interior, service is great and their menu has solid options. I enjoyed the chicken rice plate and their flavorful garlic noodles. The passionfruit tea with crystal boba was light and refreshing. The matcha was nice, smooth and creamy. I need to come back to try out more dishes!
Ordered: Bo Ne Wagyu w/pepper sauce, Garlic noodle with fried shrimp, Banh Canh & Glass Noodle w/chicken ovaries and intestines. There wasn't that wow factor but their food was good. First time trying Bo Ne and it was yummy, loved dipping the bread into the sauce. Their portion sizes were nice and shareable. The service was friendly but please offer water. The place looked simple, but there was food scraps left on the table and chair from previous diners when we sat down.
If you’re looking for a brunch spot in Orange County with big portions and bold flavors, SIP needs to be on your list. 💛 Wagyu Steak with baguette – messy but worth it. Not first-date friendly, but flavor-approved. 💛 Chicken Rice – giant chicken leg, but the crispy stir-fried rice is the real main character. Portions are generous (especially for OC), pricing feels fair, and the flavors actually deliver.
A new addition to the area serving traditional dishes with a modern take. The atmosphere is chill and somewhat eye pleasing if the uptake were consistent. But skip all that and let’s get to the food. The first item I had was their Bò Nè with Wagyu and Pâtè and I’m not sure if the tarrifs have anything to do with this but their Wagyu pieces were really small and for that price? Yeah not good. Next I had the Lobster and Garlic Noodles. The noodles were decent but the lobster was bite sized. This was like an appetizer then a meal. But I will say this, their drinks were pretty good and that should never be a miss. The service was ok and should’ve been better in my opinion since it wasn’t that busy. Parking can be difficult so be prepared for it. So if you’re in the mood for something not too filling and decent then check it out.
