Snowy Village is a dessert shop in Portland, Oregon, at 105 N Failing St, Portland, OR 97227. Its central specialty is bingsu, a Korean-style shaved-ice dessert that customers describe as finely textured, sweet, and creamy. For visitors looking beyond an everyday scoop of ice cream, the shop offers a colorful, shareable treat with fruit and familiar flavors. Reviews mention mango, strawberry, Oreo, and taro, giving you a sense of the choices customers have enjoyed. It is a casual place to consider when you want dessert after a meal, an afternoon cool-down, or something different to split with friends.

Mango is one of the flavors that comes up repeatedly in customer feedback. Some guests praise the mango shaved ice, while others note that the mango can be quite sweet, especially when prepared in syrup. Strawberry and mango together are described as refreshing, and one review says the shaved ice has a sweet, creamy texture. Oreo and taro also appear in customer accounts. These firsthand impressions are useful if you are deciding what to order: flavor preferences differ, and sweetness is a matter of taste. You can choose a familiar flavor or try a combination, then share a larger dessert if you are visiting with a group.

Snowy Village works well for friends meeting up, couples looking for a dessert stop, and families or groups who enjoy sampling a treat together. One party shared watermelon, mango, and taro, while another customer visited on several consecutive days for bingsu. Those experiences suggest that sharing can be part of the visit, though prices may feel high to some guests. Seating is also worth keeping in mind: a review mentions that it can be difficult to find a seat when the shop is busy. Feedback is mixed overall, with a 4.2 rating from 369 reviews. Some visitors focus on the desserts and photos, while at least one review raised concerns about table and floor cleanliness, so experiences can vary.

The shop is open Monday through Thursday from 3:00 to 9:45 p.m., Friday from 3:00 to 10:45 p.m., Saturday from 1:00 to 10:45 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 to 9:45 p.m. These later afternoon and evening hours make it an option for a weekend outing or a sweet finish to the day; Saturday and Sunday opening times also suit an earlier visit. If you are planning to stop by during a busy period, allow for the possibility that seating may be limited. At its Portland address on N Failing Street, Snowy Village offers a straightforward reason to visit: bingsu with fruit and other flavors, served as a cool, shareable dessert. Consider your preferred level of sweetness and check current details before heading over.

My friends & I checked this place out yesterday; the reviews looked good & so did the photos, and as you can tell the photos hold up but that's about it. The tables & floor were really dirty (the store only had 1 customer when we arrived, so it wasn't due to being busy) & even though the bingsu looked aestheticly pleasing there were lighter flavors lost in the desserts—I think maybe it was just too much going on, even though we tasted layers individually to make sure. Probably won't visit again, unfortunately.

The bingsoos are fantastic on a hot summer day. My wife and I ate here 3 days in a row, because…why not? The half strawberry, half mango is refreshing and the shaved ice itself has a sweet, creamy texture. One of the other days I ordered …

The mango shaved ice was sweet. The mango was cooked in syrup so it was pretty sweet. I ordered a drink as well but it tasted so artificial and sweet. I didn’t like it

Watermelon , mango and taro split between 6 people was a lot! $59 for two regular size plus the watermelon . Seems a little steep priced but we got our sugar fix, something unique and felt like treating ourselves today.
