If you like boring quiet restaurants with menus that never change and subpar service, this is NOT the place for you. So let me paint you a picture of the awesomeness that is So So Fed. You step in and immediately feel it—the kind of electric chaos that tells you something special is happening here. The room, overflowing with energy: “Hands please!”, the sizzle of that heavenly rib-eye on the grill, the sounds of pounding a Lao spicy papaya salad for the regulars at 14, the bartender shaking cocktails with beautiful rhythm. It’s hectic, it’s electric, it’s alive. The type of energy that keeps you wanting more. With a rotating menu, service with energy to match, flavors that blow your mind, this place is not to be missed. Shyenna is such a delight and makes you feel like the most important person in the room. Ask for her for a top notch dining experience.

What a surprisingly great experience! So So Fed is the Sunday and Monday night pop-up inside OK Yaki. We walked into a lively and packed restaurant serving delicious and well presented Lao food. I had the 12oz ribeye/pbing seen and a fantastic cocktail (pictured, but I don't remember the name). The service was to tier and sitting at the bar perfect to watch how much care and precision goes into the food. Highly recommended!

Updating my review a third time to emphasize that trying something more than once or twice can really make a huge difference. This is my favorite restaurant now. I try to get there to taste the new menu items as often as I can. I'm a regular. I cannot wait until they have their own space. I love this food & everyone that works there is down to earth and cool & attentive. Went back again & was definitely a better experience this time around. Everything was delicious! The Laad Naa crab noodles were great, oysters fresh and the dessert was the perfect thing to finish with. The yuzu mignonette sauce for the oysters was so delicious I drank it out the sauce bowl! I had the fruit salad in the coconut cream- it was so light, creamy, & fresh. Mint was a perfect addition- and the fruit was so sweet & ripe. My one & only complaint was the my noodles were a little undercooked& they were mushy & falling apart a bit. They were very busy in there & I personally didn't mind it too much. Great 2nd visit though. Good food, good time. Food was good- I expected something a little more unique than what was offered for the price & the exclusivity but I didn't mind much because everything tasted good. The plates are a bit smaller than you'd expect but pricing isn't so prohibitive that you can't add on sides or add another dish. It's more fun that way bc you get to try more. I had a lavender drink that was not exactly my jam but if you like sweet & tangy drinks it's a good option! My partner had a Halfway Crooks beer on tap which was nice to see on the menu. Our server, Luna, was sweet & attentive. Overall, a solid & positive experience! Would return

This place has been on my radar for a very long time. And suffice to say that it lived up to the hype. Punchy, bold, unapologetic flavors in every dish. That fried chicken is something I’ll be thinking about for a long time. …

We arrived on Sunday evening and we got there right as several others did too. The hostess took my name and number and told us about a 30 min wait. We waited outside at first on the wooden stools and then moved to the bench near Local Honey. Eventually we moved back in front of the restaurant and more and more people were arriving. When we went to check what was going on with our spot on the list, the hostess didn't remember us or that she had taken my name and number. She claimed it wasn't her. Talk about infuriating, no apology or even acknowledgment of what happened from her. We finally were seated and thankfully our server was awesome. We ordered several dishes and everything was delicious. The glass noodles were fresh and light, papaya salad was pungent and spicy(different than Thai papaya salad we learned from Google), steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious too. We topped off the meal with blueberry cobbler for dessert and it was great too.
