Sticky Rice - Richardson

Very disappointing experience when I went here I always go to the Murphey location which is known for their Tom Yum soup and how delicious and authentic it is I ordered the Tom Yum same spice level same way mince chicken it came. It was like an oil mine. I asked why it was so early and they told me because of the mince chicken, which I’ve never heard of that before because I get it that way all the time it also did not have lemon grass gang over or any of the typical things The Murphy location has in there tommy on the soup. The experience started out awful. When I walked in. They told me they had no ice and they had no soda and I said isn’t that a cooler right there don’t you have ice in it he said no we don’t have any ice. Can you check? He’s like OK we have a little so he gave me some ice in a cup and the only beverage they had was water or bottled drinks, but they didn’t have the bottle drink that I was able to drink and diet. I am in kidney failure, so I’m extremely sensitive oily foods. That said they did refund me for the food and even offered to make a new one. However they told me that they make things different than they do at the Murphy location so I said I’ll just go with a refund the gentleman at the cash register was very, very nice and accommodating. It was just a very disappointing experience. If you’re used to the food at Murphy, you will be getting a totally different experience at this location, the interior also looks like a cafeteria.

I'm sorry, but this isn't authentic Thai Basil fried rice. The tofu is overcooked, and the baby corn tastes dry and weird. I've never had fried rice that puts so much baby corn, green and red bell peppers - it's too sweet! I won't order this again.

I've been coming here for years and the herb chicken fried rice never fails to deliver! I've never had a bad item on the menu. Additionally, on my way out of the restaurant I accidentally dropped the food that I had just picked up, and the manager/owner replaced it for free! The exceptional food and awesome customer service is what keeps me coming back 😁

I always assumed the food would be consistent across all locations, but unfortunately, this visit missed the mark. Both the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao here at the Cityline Richardson location were completely drowning in sauce. Since these are supposed to be stir-fry dishes, the excess sauce really took away from the flavor and texture—less is definitely more here! Also, if you’re ordering fried rice, tell them to use less oil. On the bright side the crew are welcoming. Plus they were very generous on the toppings and mest slices.

Cute little restaurant, clean, heavy industrial wood and iron tables, chairs, and stools. Yelow curry and Thai spicy basil combo is on point! Will definitely come back if I'm in the area.
