Highlights: - Casual, No frills - Good Variety - Small Portions Walked in for an early casual lunch on Saturday. We were the only ones there but it started getting busy soon enough. We ordered 1. A2 - Grilles Chicken skewers: 2/5. Took too long to come, chicken was dry, not incredibly flavoured and overall quite average 2. N1 - Mee Kon Tang: 3/5. We are big fans of noodles. The noodles were cooked well but overwhelming soy flavoured with no other real punch or taste. Had generous amounts of veggies which was great Overall it wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad. I wouldn’t go back. Maybe takeout if I’m around. There’s a lot of good places in and around the city so repeat customers generally either love the food, the vibe or the price. To be fair, I did not try the authentic dishes but from what I did try. I did see somebody next to me ordered the wings and they looked really good - maybe that’s what I would try next time.

Went for my friend’s bday and it was a great meal. Due to allergies, I could only eat my meal but it was very tasty. It’s one of my friends favorite restaurants and her gf grew up in Cambodia and said it was extremely similar to what she ate growing up, so very authentic. Have eaten here a couple of times now and loved it every time. Not pictured: the skewers which are an absolute must!

Sophie’s Kitchen is a family owned restaurant serving up some incredibly delicious and authentic Cambodian cuisine! Lemongrass wings: the absolute star of the show. hot off the fryer, the chicken had the perfect crisp but so much *tenderism*. crispy, garlicky, slightly sweet… 10/10 from me Papaya salad (nhoam la hong): a great starter and/or palette cleanser. the red pepper flakes added a nice heat that built up the more i ate it, it surprised me Stir fried egg noodle (mee cha): i have never had a noodle dish this flavorful. i was expecting this to be a standard side of noodles and veg to eat with other items, but i found myself wanting to just eat the entire plate. very savory and garlicky, good comfort food Yellow curry coconut sour soup (somlawe majou kteah): i found this curry to be overly sweet, but that is no fault to the restaurant. my friend really enjoys pineapple and coconut milk in their curry so she picked this one. she loved it, i am more of a savory person so i would pick something else next time. the meat and veggies were tender and cooked well Tony was very helpful and attentive. The inside was casual and the front seating area was pretty tight. But the food was so delicious, the ambiance didn’t matter. I will absolutely be back in the future for more!

One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in a while. We ordered a few different dishes to share; the beef skewers, shaking beef, kambucha sautéed, and eggplant sautéed were all super flavorful and delicious. We also tried the nhoam la …

Chicken skewer is delicious, but the more you eat, you may feel like it is a tiny bit too salty. Mee kon tang is normal: texture of noodle is good but beef is a little too chewy. My favorite is the sauteed pumpkin with chicken; the seasoning is good, but the rice is too dry. The Somlawe majou kroeung soup is sour and quite spicy even when I asked for mild. The waitress later asked the kitchen to lower the spicy level even more and it tastes a lot better for me. It has a strong lemongrass taste. The pork rib is still pretty tough for me since I prefer fall of the bone. The pork with pineapple is good, but a little too sour for me. The stir fried noodles (lort cha) is okay, a little too oily, I have had better. The sngour jruok mohn is a sweet and sour soup with mushroom and your choice of meat. It is not spicy at all, kinda a nice solid soup. I think between this and the other soup, the other one's flavor is more complex and in a way better but too spicy for me :( I think good food overall and price is affordable.
