I frequent Soufend Cafe thanks to its close proximity and love their authentic Viet dishes, esp the soups. Bún mắm, bánh canh, and bánh cuốn are top tier here. The hidden gem is also the matcha. It can go bar for bar with the top matcha-focused places in Seattle since I know they source quality matcha powder from a reputable supplier. I tried the new mì Quảng gà, and unfortunately it missed the notes. The broth was not flavorful, and the noodles were too soggy. This is a new item, so I’m sure they’ll take the feedback & perfect it over time.

The food was delicious and perfectly suited to Vietnamese tastes. The fresh herbs were a standout, very fresh, generous in portion, and they even seemed to be homegrown. The prices were reasonable for the quality and overall dining experience. The service was friendly and relaxed, and the restaurant was clean, spacious, and well-maintained.

Highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Vietnamese food. The dishes and coffee are delicious, and the portions for each dish or bowl are very generous. The service is great, friendly and fast. The restaurant is also very clean inside. They also have outdoor seating for sunny days, so it’s nice to grab an extra cup of dessert or coffee and hang out outside. We ordered the bún mắm, which had fresh fish, flavorful broth, and fresh green vegetables on the side. We also tried the bánh cuốn dish, which came with lots of toppings and was large enough for two people. However, the xôi mặn was a little disappointing since the chả lụa and pork/fish floss had a slight plastic-like smell. Overall though, we’ll definitely come back to try different dishes and grab more coffee from them (especially the salted cheese coffee), which we absolutely loved.

The outdoor seating feels like you're in a garden 🌹 it's beautiful. I had the Shaking Beef and the Banana Coffee and both were very good. 🅿️ Plenty of parking when I went.
