Massage is a recurring reason guests describe visiting SPA InterContinental Boston. Reviews mention hot stone massage, sessions with add-ons, and therapists who helped guests address areas of tension. One guest praised a therapist’s ability to make the session feel comfortable and relaxing; another highlighted a hot stone treatment. These comments suggest the spa may appeal to someone seeking a more focused massage experience, whether the priority is unwinding or getting attention to particular areas. Guests can share their preferences and needs with the team, though the reviews also make clear that massage experiences are personal and not every session will feel the same to every visitor.

Facials and the lounge are also part of the experience described in customer feedback. One reviewer called their facial fantastic, while another appreciated spending time in the relaxing lounge and receiving attentive service. Together, these details point to an atmosphere that can support a slower, more settled visit rather than a quick appointment alone. The spa may be a good option for someone planning time for both a treatment and a pause before or after it. Reviews mention professional, knowledgeable therapists and customer service that tries to cater to guests’ needs, offering helpful context for anyone deciding what kind of visit would suit them.

Feedback is not uniformly positive: one guest reported being disappointed with their couples massage, describing their own treatment as too gentle, even though their friend had a better experience. That contrast is worth keeping in mind when choosing a service or communicating the pressure and style you prefer. If you are considering a visit, ask about available treatments and add-ons, and explain your expectations before the session begins.
