This store has very few pleasant employees. Today I was shooed away from the self checkout to the cashier's register. After adding my 10-20 items on the belt, the rude cashier literally walks away. No words. No nothing. I pack up my items and return to the disgusting demeanor of the self checkout attendant. Needed her badge scan for a reduced item and she couldn't comprehend basic English on top of that catty demeanor. The grocery carts aren't permitted into the parking lot across the street from the store. Not worth returning to spend my hard earned money. I will visit NONE of Shaw's or Star Market locations as the quality of staff has declined severely. Clean these people up or get them out.
I’ve always had a good experience. Staff are friendly and helpful. I usually order in store pickup and part of the reason is one staff member in particular, Adrian. His communication skills are on point. He always picks out the highest quality produce for me. Shows that he is willing to go above and beyond.
