Studio B Hair Design

Studio B Hair Design is a neighborhood beauty salon at 5250 NE Sandy Blvd in Portland, OR 97213. The salon is known through customer accounts for thoughtful haircuts, color services, and a warm, personal experience. Owner Beth has earned the trust of clients who return for years: one reviewer says they have visited monthly for 24 years, while others mention bringing their children for haircuts. That kind of long-standing relationship speaks to a salon where people value consistency and feel comfortable coming back.

Haircuts are a central reason customers recommend Studio B. Reviewers describe Beth as talented, friendly, and attentive, noting that she listens to what clients want and offers practical advice about how a cut or style may work with their hair. Customers also mention returning for color appointments. Whether you are looking for a regular trim, a new shape, or a conversation about a style that suits your hair, the feedback suggests a collaborative approach rather than a one-size-fits-all service. The salon may be especially appealing to people who appreciate building an ongoing relationship with their stylist.

The atmosphere is described as friendly and relaxing. One customer mentions a haircut and wash followed by a brief shoulder massage, and several reviews emphasize Beth’s personable manner and the welcoming feel of the salon. Families are part of the clientele, too: a reviewer says they bring their young twin boys for cuts, and another brings their daughters. These experiences suggest Studio B can suit adults and families seeking a comfortable place for hair services, though customers should contact the salon directly with questions about specific services or accommodations.

Planning ahead is a good idea for appointments with Beth. Reviewers say her schedule can fill well in advance, which they attribute to her loyal clientele. A customer review also describes Wednesdays as Beth’s custom walk-in day, with service handled in first-come, first-served order and usually little or no wait; it is sensible to confirm current walk-in details before visiting. Studio B Hair Design is listed as open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; it is closed Monday and Sunday. The address is 5250 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR 97213. With a listed rating of 5 from 48 reviews, Studio B is a local option for people seeking attentive cuts, hair color, and a familiar, personal salon experience.
