Marlo is always happy to take time to show me different ways to style a new cut or show me how different hair products can create a new exciting look. She's very knowledgeable about her profession and knows how to cut and style your hair to enhance your features. The salon is lovely and inviting, and Marlo is a gem. She's smart, interesting, caring, and always fun to talk to. I highly recommend Marlo at Studio M!
I was looking for a hair stylist that would consider two things when cutting my hair: my hair texture and what it could do naturally, and my features, and what would be the most flattering style. Marlo Rasmussen not only did that, but she spent time explaining why she recommended the length, amount of layering, and most flattering ways to style with the least amount of effort and impact on my hair. I have seen her twice now for haircuts, and I even got up the nerve to have my salt gray hair peppered with some subtle layering. She did a wonderful job. I love my haircut, style, and the weaving! My daughter said, "Mom, something is different. Your hair looks fantastic." You can trust Marlo to listen carefully to what you need and want, and make suggestions that are right for you.
Marlo at Studio M is consistently the best, time after time, at cutting my hair into a style that compliments me, taking all aspects of my appearance into consideration when she does. Consistency is important to me, because so many times with so many other stylists it's hit or miss; sometimes good this time, next time not so much. Not here, not with Marlo. I can count on Marlo to do an excellent job each and every time. I highly recommend her. Somehow she makes my fine, thin hair look full and healthy and beautiful.
Love my balayage and cut by Kayla Thai! I wanted 4-5 inches off. I appreciated that she was conservative with the initial cut, but proceeded to take a bit more off after consulting me. After blow drying, I commented the color was overall a bit lighter/more blonde than I expected, and Kayla didn’t hesitate to offer to correct it on the spot because she knew it would only get lighter over time. After the re-tone, I’m super happy with the color. Kayla is a super kind person, and I felt really cared for. Highly recommend!
My son is half Black, half Mexican and has a head full of beautiful curls. Brooklyn was wonderful in explaining how to care for his curls and took her time cutting his hair curl by curl. We couldn't be more pleased with the result and will definitely be back.
