Super Foot Spa is a massage therapist located at 39105 Cedar Blvd in Newark, CA, serving people looking for a practical way to unwind and address everyday tension. Open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, this Newark massage spot offers a convenient option for a post-work reset, a weekend break, or a focused self-care visit. Its 3.6 rating from 137 reviews reflects a wide range of customer experiences, with many returning guests describing years of visits.

The service most often mentioned by customers is the one-hour foot massage. Reviews describe beginning with a warm foot soak, followed by foot-focused work and an informal full-body massage while guests remain clothed. Depending on the therapist and session, this can include attention to the head, neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands, and legs. Several visitors especially note neck and shoulder work, making Super Foot Spa a consideration for those who spend long hours at a desk, on their feet, or carrying routine muscle tightness.

The atmosphere is generally described as straightforward rather than elaborate: the emphasis is on the massage itself. Longtime customers have characterized it as a legitimate, no-frills studio, while some say the quality can range from average to excellent depending on the individual therapist. Guests who have found a therapist whose approach suits them have mentioned requesting that person for future bodywork, particularly when seeking more targeted attention. For a foot massage, some reviewers report feeling comfortable with different staff members.

Customer feedback also suggests it is helpful to confirm service details and total pricing before a session begins. One review describes a value-oriented hourly foot massage price, while another raises concerns about a pricing discrepancy and an unwanted tip expectation. Asking about the selected service, duration, total charge, and tipping policy upfront can help establish clear expectations. This is a sensible step for any massage appointment and may make the experience more comfortable from start to finish.

For residents and visitors seeking a Newark, California massage therapist, Super Foot Spa may fit those who appreciate accessible hours, a familiar foot-massage format, and clothed bodywork beyond the feet. It can be a practical choice for solo relaxation, recurring maintenance, or relief after a busy day. Because experiences differ by therapist, guests with specific needs may benefit from communicating their preferences clearly and considering a repeat visit with a practitioner they prefer.

Been coming here for years. Always had a good straight forward massage. I said that because it's reflected on the price. For now it's $40 for one hour of foot massage (presoak feet in warm water), plus informal full body massage (head, neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands, legs). Most of the workers speaks very little English but I was always able to communicate simple instructions. I see other reviews on how they are upset that there is a minimum $10 tip fee. I feel like that is fair and I always give more than $10. Good massages. Great value. Polite staff. Decor is not fancy but simple and clean. If you want a day spa, then prepare to pay at least 3 times that fee plus tip because I've checked and looked around. I am looking forward to coming back when my feet and back feel tired.

Fantastic deal! Gave a $25 tip because I was so happy. One of the best massages I’ve ever had. Took away all my pain. Lovely experience. Thank you!! They say it’s a foot massage but they massage everything and with your clothes on! Just go!

Terrible place! The massage was awful — a complete waste of money. Instead of the advertised $39 per hour, they tried to charge me $63, and when I noticed the scam, they forced me to pay a tip. Very unpleasant experience — I do not recommend this salon to anyone!

I have been going here for many years. It is a legitimate studio. No extras. Quality varies between average to excellent depending on the experience of the therapist. For foot massages I am happy with anyone. For body massages, I request a specific therapist who has helped me through several injuries. Lilly whom I assume is at least the general manager is very nice. Please be generous with tips. The base price of massages is very reasonable. This is Silicon Valley. The house gets its percentage and the therapists have to pay rent on the remainder. If you compare it to other places and their base prices, when you give a good tip here you still come out ahead. Highly recommend.

I had a good foot massage experience here as the masseue who attended me was experienced. He started the one hour foot massage with by spending around 15 mins massaging neck, arms and shoulders. What was new for me that he massaged a nerve on my neck, right below the ear, which I didn't know exists! Then he spent about 30 mins on legs and massaged my back in the last 10 odd minutes. The pressure was right and the place was quiet as it wasn't brimming with customers at the time. One hour foot massage costs $41 for card payment and $40 in cash. I wanted to tip $5 considering 12.5% but they kinda insisted that $10 is min tip, which is around 25% of the bill. Overall, nice, clean and comfortable space. The ubiquitous red light was a bit overwhelming but I had my eyes covered with a towel during the massage, so it didn't matter much. I feel you could give this place a try.
