Sign in to reviewI was treated to halo-halo while discussing engagement rings, and it’s something I never would have thought to try on my own. With its mix of jellies, beans, taro, and condensed milk, I wasn’t sure what to expect - but I was completely blown away. It was absolutely delicious, surprisingly well-balanced, and not overly sweet. I’ll definitely have to stop by again myself sometime!
Small nice store. Worth a visit. Clean & organized.
I stumbled upon this gem when I was trying to find a specific item. I had called Chokdee twice and both times they hung up. I called Super Pinoy Store and it went to voicemail, I didn't leave one, but they still returned my call. I then asked if they had the specific item and they confirmed and told me the other flavors they had as well. This was worth the 32 minute drive from my house. The store was clean, organized, and smelled great (IYKYK). Customer service was excellent from the minute you get in the store they see if you need help to when you are checking out they are polite and friendly. I have sung the praises of this store to all my family and friends that love going to Asian/Filipino stores. Thank you so much for all the help and the excellent service. We will definitely be back.
Nice Filipino store in Stone Oak. In Tagalog, sari sari means a small store that sells a variety of goods. Navigation took me to the Mellow Mushroom shopping strip, but it's in the next plaza a few doors down from Corner Bakery. Store is very clean, well organized, and with spacious aisles. Staff was very friendly. There are a good variety of Filipino foods, snacks, produce, drinks, and other Asian groceries. In the back, is a small window that sells halo halo, siopao, and other desserts. The items were fairly priced and saves time from driving to other Filipino stores near the Forum or Leon Valley. Just coming back from the Philippines in 2020, the halo halo was very authentic. It's different than American desserts as it's a combination of shaved ice, sweet beans, fruits, and evaporated milk, but is really good. Haven't tried the other fresh food, but will be back to support this small Filipino store in Stone Oak.
This place has everything you need for most asian dishes. Sweet chili sauce, any wrapper dim-sum, and stuff thats already premade. This place is a gem and the people working here are really nice/helpful.
