Suvidha International Market is an Indian grocery store in Charlotte, NC, serving shoppers looking for Indian groceries and ingredients for meals at home. You’ll find it at 10008 University City Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28213. Whether you are planning a familiar family recipe or looking for a particular grocery item, the market offers a local place to shop. Customer feedback highlights Indian grocery products, halal meats, and Rohu fish, a find one reviewer described as rare in America. Product selection and availability can vary, so shoppers looking for a specific item may want to check in person.
For home cooks, the grocery side is the main reason to visit. Reviews mention a range of Indian grocery products and halal meat, making Suvidha a practical stop for people preparing Indian meals or seeking those ingredients in the University City area. Rohu is specifically noted by a customer, which may be useful for shoppers looking for that fish. These details come from customer experiences rather than a complete inventory list, so they should not be taken as a guarantee that any particular product is always in stock. Staff are also described positively in a review, while another customer hoped for more employees at the food counter.
Suvidha is also associated with a food truck and prepared food. One regular customer praised the food truck’s vada pav, chaats, chilli paneer, and gobi, describing the food as fresh and flavorful. That review suggests the truck may appeal to diners who want familiar Indian street-food-style bites alongside a grocery visit. Feedback about prepared food is not uniformly positive, however: other reviewers reported disappointing biryani orders, including concerns about order accuracy, freshness, and consistency. If you are choosing a prepared dish, keep in mind that customer experiences differ; reviews are a snapshot, not a promise of how any individual visit will go.
The market can suit Indian households stocking up for everyday cooking, people seeking halal meat or Rohu, and Charlotte shoppers exploring Indian groceries. It may also interest customers who want to try the food truck items mentioned by reviewers. Its University City Boulevard location makes it a neighborhood option for people in Charlotte and nearby areas, while the posted schedule gives shoppers a way to plan ahead. The available business information lists a 3.9 rating from 1,111 reviews, reflecting a broad range of customer experiences rather than a single consensus.
Posted hours are Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Hours and product availability can change, so confirm details before making a special trip. For a straightforward visit, browse the grocery selection, ask about items you are seeking, and consider the food truck separately if prepared food is part of your plan. Suvidha International Market brings Indian grocery shopping and customer-mentioned food options together at a Charlotte address, with reviews that give a realistic picture of both its useful finds and areas where experiences have varied.

I ordered the family pack biryani in the evening, only to receive the wrong order entirely. To make matters worse, the food had a foul smell, clearly indicating it was not fresh. When I brought this to the management’s attention, instead of taking responsibility or offering a solution, they insisted the food was fine when it left their kitchen and made no effort to resolve the issue and was lady who answered the call from kitchen was too rude Do not risk your health with this place!
Yesterday I ordered Vijayawada Chicken Biryani family pack and a Paneer Biryani from Suvidha, and overall, the experience was quite disappointing. …

This 5 star review is exclusively for Suvidha Food truck. This food truck place is awesome! We are regular eaters here and tried almost every item. Specially vada pav, all chaats, chilli paneer , Gobi and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. They have a nice seating area. Arman is not only a great chef, but also a genuinely kind and humble human being. His staff and helpers were very friendly, respectful, and welcoming. Arman and his team set a great example of how friendly service and genuine hospitality can make good food feel even more special. You can feel the passion in both the food and the way they treat people. Highly recommend this food truck , Arman’s recipes to anyone looking for tasty food and a warm, positive experience! I also want to specially mention Sudhakar, the grocery store manager, who truly is the the showrunner there. His management skills are excellent, and you can clearly see his positive leadership in the way the place is run.
