T & T NAILS SALON AND SPA SUGAR LAND

I've never been this disappointed with a nail salon. I recently moved to the Houston/Sugar Land area and found this salon through a Google search. My first visit was amazing. I got a square French tip set that I absolutely loved, and it lasted almost three weeks. Because of that positive experience, I decided to return for a new set before my birthday. The salon advertises a birthday discount, but when I asked about it, I was told they would not honor it because my appointment wasn't on my actual birthday (birthday was 3days away and I was doing travel prep). That requirement was not clearly advertised, so I felt misled, and the manager wasn’t very rude about it when I asked. Ladies, if you're planning to use the birthday discount, make sure you go on the exact day of your birthday. Despite that, I decided to move forward with a new full set. I showed the nail technician a picture of exactly what I wanted, but the nails looked nothing like the inspo photo. When I politely spoke up and explained that I didn't like the design, the technician immediately seemed to develop an attitude. At that point, I asked her to remove the design and simply apply a clear shimmer coat because I was over the experience and just wanted to leave. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that after I voiced my concerns, it felt like the technician began talking about me to the other nail techs in a language I didn't understand. Whether that was the case or not, it created an unwelcoming atmosphere and made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. Fast forward three weeks later when it was time to remove the set. I soaked my nails in acetone as I normally do, and I was shocked by the condition of my natural nails underneath. They are now severely damaged, thin, and weak. I've worn acrylics and had my nails done many times before, and I have never experienced this level of damage. It's unfortunate because my first visit was so good, but my second experience completely changed my opinion of this salon. Between the misleading birthday promotion, poor customer service, and the condition of my nails afterward, I will not be returning. This is my honest experience, and if the health of your natural nails is important to you, I would think twice before booking an appointment here.

I had a wonderful experience here. The polish of my old manicure had cracked on my pinky nail, and it was hurting me badly. Once I told the techs, they were very gentle and mended it quite nicely. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and attentive. I’m sure I’ll be back soon.

This is a neighborhood gem. I went on a Monday afternoon when the salon was quieter. The staff was courteous and professional. Clients have a choice of beverage (soda or water). The salon is small and no frills. I received both the manicure ( full set) and pedicure. Peter “ Great Hands” massaged my legs and feet so well that I fell asleep. Phillip performed the manicure and did a stellar job. If you want a quality job with a creative artist, try this small salon. Great job!

I’m from out of town I walked in T&T Nails yesterday to repair a broken thumb nail. I got there around 6:20pm and they closed at 7 so I figured I may not be taken care of. However, immediately upon walking in the door I was greeted, offered a beverage, and sat down in a chair. My nail tech was a male I didn’t get his name unfortunately. But he was extremely professional and went beyond to match the exact red color I had on my other nails. I was very pleased with my experience & would definitely recommend this location.

I left another nail shop after years and visited T&T for the 1st time. They were very welcoming and nice. The prices are very reasonable. Ms. Chau and Tim did an excellent job on my nails. I will back.
