Take 5 Oil Change

Mrs. Pat at LensCrafters inside Macy’s Willowbrook Mall is different. Super welcoming, locked in, and really knows her stuff. She made buying my Meta glasses smooth and easy — no pressure, just straight expertise. Best in the business. Period.

My experience was great. Issac was very helpful and kind. The service was quick and he took a look at my filters and made sure I left with everything checked and updated. I appreciate his extra effort.

Long wait time, Poor customer service Waited over 1 hour for an inspection. There were 5 cars ahead of me and 3 left. Couldn’t imagine my wait time if they would have stayed. There was a car behind me who left as well. No one came to greet me. Knowing people were leaving, no one came to apologize or explain the wait. I’m new to area and have been to other Take 5 locations so I thought this was a sure bet. I waited this time but won’t be back

Hello, I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred during my recent visit to a Take 5 Oil Change location in Houston, TX. I visited the location for a state inspection only. However, after leaving, I discovered that the technician had removed my oil cap and failed to reinstall it. I drove home in this condition, which resulted in oil spraying throughout the engine bay and onto the windshield, along with a noticeable burning smell and smoke. I returned to the location, where I was informed that the oil cap had been misplaced and was not immediately located. It reportedly took approximately two hours to find it, and it was not near the service bay where my vehicle had been serviced. I also questioned why any components were being removed, as I had clearly requested an inspection only. Additionally, I observed my air filter housing open while being asked to start the vehicle, which raised further concerns about the handling of my car during the inspection process. Since this incident, my vehicle is no longer operating as it did prior to the visit. It now has a check engine light on and is not running properly, which was not an issue beforehand. I have attempted to contact customer service by phone but was placed on hold for an extended period without receiving assistance. I was told a manager would follow up, but I have not received any communication. At this time, I am requesting: ● Immediate documentation of this incident ● A full inspection of my vehicle to assess any damage caused ● Clear next steps on how this matter will be resolved This situation reflects a serious lapse in service and care, and I would like it addressed promptly. My goal is simply to have my vehicle restored to proper working condition. Please contact me as soon as possible. I can leave my # or email I actually sent a email to customer service and that hasn’t been responded to eaither. I have more pictures and documentation. As well as I seen cameras all over there bays. Brayden, Brandon, Malik, Joel and Aiden were all fantastic! They took the time to take out my air filter (i have an old German car and the air filter case was stuck) and change the filter. They were so sweet and nice. I’d highly recommend this Take5 and the employees! They go above and beyond for the customers ❤️ best oil change ever
