Tao Spa

Tao Spa is a massage spa at 615 Canal St in New Orleans, Louisiana, a convenient stop for visitors and locals looking to relax during a day downtown. Customer reviews identify the spa as being inside Riverwalk Mall, making it an option to consider when you are already shopping or exploring nearby. Its location can be especially useful after spending hours walking around New Orleans. The atmosphere described by customers is casual and accessible, with walk-in visits possible when staff are available. If you are planning a visit around a busy day, calling ahead may help you confirm availability and discuss what kind of massage you want.

Reviews mention body massage, foot massage, and combinations of the two, as well as shoulder and neck work. Some guests describe a thorough technique and deep pressure, while another visitor appreciated receiving a massage without having to undress. These experiences suggest Tao Spa may suit people seeking a straightforward massage or focused relief for tired feet after a lot of walking. Pressure and session details can matter, so it is sensible to explain your preferences clearly before treatment begins. Ask which areas are included and how long each part of the service lasts, especially if you are booking a combination.

Customer experiences vary, and that is worth keeping in mind when choosing a service. Some reviewers praise friendly staff, skilled massage techniques, and feeling better afterward; others report uneven service or confusion about which areas were covered during the time they paid for. One review also mentions a toenail manicure, though massage is the spa’s listed category. For the clearest expectations, confirm the price, duration, and specific services before you start, and speak up if you would like the pressure or focus adjusted. The public rating is 3.2 from 202 reviews, so reading recent feedback may help you decide whether the experience fits your preferences.

Tao Spa is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Those evening hours can work for visitors fitting in a massage after sightseeing or for locals seeking a later appointment. Whether you are interested in a foot massage, body massage, or a combination, the most useful first step is to confirm availability and agree on the service details. Located on Canal Street in New Orleans, Tao Spa offers a practical downtown option for people looking to take a break and decide on a massage that suits their needs.
