Sign in to reviewWanted to check out different places for Bánh mì. Saw this place for several time but only now we were able to stop in and test the Bánh mì. We ordered the special of the house, $6.99. 4-5 different meats in a banquette. Can request the pickled condiments to wrap separately(recommended if you are not going to eat it fright away). They have other grilled meat Bánh Mì to your taste buds and other Vietnamese snacks like steamed rice cake with steamed ground pork roll. The deli meat were tasty, the banquette were a little bit chewy. It was a bit better than the BMC. Really nice place for a quick bite.
We bought one pack of Nem chua lately and the taste is as good as before but they add too many whole pepper in it now so it makes the whole think not good any more as the whole pepper are too hard to chew and it takes away the good taste of the Nem chua. Very disappointed. Also the lady serving bánh mì not smike at all and bad attitude to the customer, looks like she didn’t happy with her job so we just don’t want to ask anymore question like trying to ask to use the bathroom after we finish the food and also all the tables are dirty and we not even want to ask them to clean them as we think we will get yell out loud to tells us to wait with an unhappy face while our food are already on the table and we just clean it with the paper napkin they provide and try to finish the food in a hurry and leave this place real quick so we don’t have to see the lady keep yelling with an unhappy face while serving bánh mì. We come to spend money to enjoy our food not come for free food and get unhappy face service. I give them 2 star as some of their food are still taste good. overall no matter how good your food is but the service is the number 1 priority as people come to enjoy good food not come to feel the unhappy worker service. No matter how much you unhappy you still need to keep up your smile and serve the best to your customer even a $1 business they still are your customer.
Found this place through one of the popular Vietnamese cooking channel. Great price but the hoagies were sub par. We ordered a special and a xá xíu hoagies and the bread was on the sweeter side. The fillings were there but not distinct and flavorful (I expect pate to taste like pate and cold cut/xá xíu should taste like what they supposed to as a combination). I had high expectations since they’re a mom and pop spot and should be better than the common Lees sandwiches franchise but they were not. Don’t recommend.
Came by order 2 sandwiches. First, it's a cash-only and very limited English spoken and signs are all no in English. Their to-order and to-pickup is clear but my order was put on opposite end of area. No way anyone told me or announcement. Place not busy. Very poor customer service/communication. As for sandwich was dry and stale bread. Cashier knew I was waiting also she knew I was unhappy. NEVER AGAIN.
I enjoy coming to Tèo's for their cheap but delicious sandwiches. The inside of the restaurant is very spacious. The staff is very polite and always smiling. There are tables and chairs outside of the restaurant in case you enjoy eating in the open air.
