Sign in to reviewI went to Thai on Hillhurst for dinner with my sister and we had a really great time! The space is super cute and has a good vibe. I had the Thai iced tea and my sister got the chrysanthemum infused tea which we both loved. For apps we got the crispy veggie roll + veggie dumplings and for mains we got the pad Thai + salmon. All the food was amazing and the portions were large. We’ll definitely be back again soon!
Absolutely love this spot!!!! The service here is the best and everyone was so sweet. It’s so cute in here and it was great coming in for lunch with the natural light coming through. So aesthetic! The food here is absolutely delicious. We started with class Thai iced teas. For starters we tried the crispy rolls and sticky wings which we both recommend! The rolls had the perfect crisp with a delicious sauce to complement it and the wings were so flavorful. The panang curry and pad thai are 2 classics here that are some of the best in this side of town. Highly recommend for a nice lunch or dinner out! It’s also super cutely decorated right now for the holidays.
NOTHING Vegan? We’ve been excited to finally try this spot during their soft opening on Hyperion (not the old location that all these reviews are for). We love Thai food and were hoping to be fast regulars here. I’ve never been to a Thai restaurant that couldn’t make at least 3-4 entrees Vegan. But this place uses fish sauce in ALL of their curries. And egg or fish in every single entree. We asked if they could make ANYTHING Vegan and they simply said “no”. What LA restaurant in 2026 doesn’t offer even one plant-based option? Please consider that people ordering your tofu and vegetable dishes are not likely to want fish or egg in their dish. They also do not serve beer, wine, or alcohol. This is very disappointing after years of waiting. We’ll stick to Silver Lake House as the neighborhood Thai go-to.

I had a lovely experience at the restaurant. It was such a zen and calming atmosphere. The servers were kind and welcoming that one came to explained to our table about the authentic Thai dish we ordered, which was nice to learn about their cuisine. I love Thai food in general and definitely recommend this place as on top of my list to dine in. Can’t wait to come back for the excellent taste!
