Sign in to reviewFebruary 9, 2025: I retained him to file a complaint in Torrance Court. I paid a total retainer of $5,500 ($3,500 via Zelle and $2,000 in cash). March 3, 2025: He attempted to transfer my case to another attorney without my prior consent, claiming the case was too complex and he lacked the time. I did not consent to this transfer. Request for Refund: I requested my file and a full refund since no complaint had been filed and no court case number existed. He returned the file but refused a refund, claiming the retainer was exhausted. He provided a bill for $3,615 consisting solely of "file reviews." He initially denied receiving the $2,000 cash payment. Only after I informed him that I had two witnesses to the cash transaction did he refund the $2,000. He blamed his staff for the "oversight," despite the fact that I handed the cash directly to him. I am seeking the remaining $3,500. My position is that he performed no meaningful legal work. No complaint was ever filed with the court. He attempted to outsource the work I hired him to do. A previous mandatory fee arbitration was denied based on a claim that I "discharged him for slow work." I never made this statement, and the Bar Association has not provided the source of this information. On March 25, 2026, mediation at Orange County Small Claim Court failed. He offered only $500 contingent on the removal of my online reviews, the settlement offer wasn't about the value of the legal work, but about "buying" silence. I rejected this as I am entitled to a refund for unearned fees. The case will go trial on June 2026, I will update then

Little office in the heart of Little Saigon. I called in and inquired about immigration but the girl receptionist picked up the phone told me that the office do not take on any more immigration cases. Which was understandable. However she directed me other many other well known immigration attorneys in the area which was appreciated!

Do not come to this attorney if you need help! he took your money but provided no service and the staff is very rude! i have to spend a lot of times to track him down and finally get my money back after few months with no services at all!!
