Sign in to reviewThis restaurant is located inside the Hmart plaza - a very bustling area for shopping, dining, a pastry store, and other food-to-go options. I ordered the Bún Thịt Nướng Chả giò, Com Bò Lúc Lắc, and a single serving of Chả giò on its own. I was pleasantly surprised by the hearty portions of the Bún Thịt Nướng Chả giò. Wow! It was huge! Lots of noodles, lettuce, meat, and extra bean sprouts. It was delicious! The Bò Lúc Lắc was very savory and tender.
When we arrived to lunch today, there were no servers at the restaurant. We have to run next door to look for the servers. Two came back and told us to sit anywhere we like. She brought us the menus placed it on the table then left for a few minutes. My husband ordered Bun Cha Ha Nội, and I told the waitress that husband does not eat carbs (aka: Bún) so I asked her if she can replaced the noodles with more salads. And I ordered Chicken Pho. She brought out our food, she gave him a fully loaded noodles and only 2 pieces of salads with herbs. My chicken pho looked good but the veggies all look wilted and not attracted. The soup kinda bland not savory. It would give a 5 stars out of 10 for the pho. I am not coming back there. Service is not good and the food is alright and pricey too.
I found out about this restaurant through the owner’s activity on social media, so I decided to stop by and try the chả cá bánh mì. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The sandwich was overly sweet and felt somewhat carelessly prepared. I also tried the coffee and peach tea, but both drinks were very sweet as well. It may simply not match my personal taste, but if you are someone who does not enjoy overly sweet food and drinks, this might not be the right choice for you.
The place could have easily taken a five stars from me but there were some small problems that I wanna share over here. In total the foods were really good, eyes catching presentation and well seasoned. The portion was also big and the price was kinda reasonable and affordable. I read some comments that complained about the price is too expensive. However, please get used to it, the economy is not the same anymore. The first problem we had is that they are selling Gelato with many flavors but somehow they not allow you to have a sample??? I meant c'mon people, giving the customer one tiny piece of sample doesn't kill anyone. It will also help you to sell more flavor. The second problem was customer service. It looks like because they are new restaurant so they don't have enough worker. I can see one employee doing everything and he wasn't really friendly at all. No matter how good your foods are; if you don't treat your customers well, no one want to return. Overall it was a great place to eat out and enjoy some good foods. Will be back here soon and hope they improve the customer service.
One of us got a braised pork dish with rice. Came out totally cold. Definitely ruined the appetite. Customer service was kind enough to take that off our bill without us asking for it. The rest of the food was meh too. We also got a Thai seafood noodle, but there were very few things in it, maybe just 2 ships, a piece of squid and some noodles, so it was overpriced. My vermicelli with the leaf wrapped beef and egg roll vermicelli was good though.
