So I went to the marketplace for something specific but I ended up walking around. It was a really good time overall because there's so much to see. If you want to do some shopping for some food or maybe just some shopping for a bite to eat, then this is your spot. You'll come into the market but you have to worry about parking because it's not free but if you're in the city you already know that. They have a validation for parking system there so you can make sure you use that, which is right by the door. There's also other places to park, which is street parking, that you could use your park mobile app as well if you'd prefer to do that or if the parking lot is full. This market has tons of items and things and anything you could think of for the most part. If you are feeling steak or Caribbean food then this is your spot to go to. If you just want some French fries or some oxtail then this is going to be a great place for it as well. There's a myriad of different stalls that you can buy food at that are ready. There's also places that you can actually buy fresh meat and seafood to cook at home. If you're trying to figure out where to go for some steaks or some oxtails or shrimp, you should check this out for sure. So overall I would say this is definitely a spot you should for sure try if you're trying to try some new dishes or if you want to buy some food to make at home. If you're trying to find something that's similar to an Asian market, for example, something off Buford Highway, this would be a good spot to check out. Picking up a couple of steaks and some shrimp is easy work for a spot like this. I actually would probably go for a holiday situation to where I was buying meat to put on the grill. If you don't want to get locked into something like Publix, this is a good spot so just keep that in mind.
I visited The Municipal Market to grab breakfast from Neighborhood Treehouse, and it was a great experience! The customer service was incredibly kind and friendly, and everyone made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The açaí bowl was fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. The market itself has a fun atmosphere with a great variety of local vendors to explore. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by The Municipal Market. Great food, friendly people, and a unique place to support local businesses! 🌿🥣😊

Second time visiting this place. I visited a couple of years ago and I took my sister Medinah here to get some Prailins. This time I took my mom here after going to Publix to get some food to eat. Definitely worth the trip not a disappointment. Parking ticket gets validated also. I visited on 2-5-2026.
Unfortunately, many of the stores were vacant. The market mostly offers fresh produce and a few takeout restaurants. To my relief, there was a police officer on duty, which made it feel safe to shop. However, there were quite a few homeless individuals outside the building. Overall, not much to see or shop.
