About

The Nail Lounge is listed on FindALoco in Charlotte, NC with address, phone, website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Nail Salon.

The Nail Lounge is a nail salon at 301 S College St, Charlotte, NC 28202, in Charlotte, NC. It offers manicure and pedicure services, with customer reviews mentioning gel manicures, gel pedicures, and dip powder as options discussed with nail technicians. If you are downtown and looking for a place to take care of your nails during the workweek, this salon may be worth considering. Its posted hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; it is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Check the current schedule and service availability before visiting, especially if you have a narrow window between work or other plans.

Reviews describe a range of experiences, so it is helpful to arrive with a clear idea of the service you want and to ask questions before beginning. One customer who had planned to get dip powder says a nail technician explained the differences between services, and the customer chose a gel manicure instead. That reviewer described Monica as professional and efficient, while also noting that some color was missing along the sides of three fingers. Another customer says the salon worked well for a basic manicure and pedicure without color. These accounts can help set expectations: communicate your preferences, confirm the details of the finish, and speak up if anything needs attention during the appointment.

There are also positive comments about the staff and service. One reviewer praises Jimmy’s work and says they trust his creative direction, describing the team as welcoming and recommending the salon. A customer visiting Charlotte on a business trip says they were glad to find The Nail Lounge and recommends it, mentioning good prices. Taken together, the feedback suggests that some guests value the personal service and the results they receive. The salon may suit someone seeking a weekday manicure or pedicure, a gel service, or a conversation with a technician about which nail option fits their preferences.

Pricing and comfort are worth discussing in advance. One out-of-town reviewer reported paying $70 for a single-color gel pedicure and felt the price was too high; that is one customer’s account, not a current price list. If cost matters to you, ask for the total before the service begins, including any relevant add-ons, and confirm what the quoted service includes. Another reviewer mentioned an injury during a basic manicure or pedicure and concern about possible infection. While a review cannot establish what happened afterward, it is reasonable to share any sensitivities, ask about the process, and let the technician know promptly if something feels uncomfortable.

The Nail Lounge has a 3.9-star rating from 77 reviews, reflecting varied customer experiences rather than a guarantee of a particular outcome. For a more comfortable visit, describe the shape, color, and finish you want, confirm the service and price, and ask the technician to check your nails before you leave. With its weekday schedule and central Charlotte address, it is an option for people looking for nail care in the city during business hours. Call or check directly for current details, since hours, prices, and available services can change.

$70 for 1 solid color gel pedicure is highway robbery. I recently visited here from out of town. I should have called ahead to ask pricing. I wouldn't have even minded paying thr price but the lady had no personality. Which fine she didnt conversate much I am Ok with that but what really bothered me was I didnt feel like she did a good job cleaning my feet. So I asked her if she cleans under the nails and she responded by pointing to my feet as if saying obviously. I was taken back and didnt respond after. The machine slid off and messed up my polish leaving a gauge in the polish. She tried to fix it by putting more polish over it layering it on. I told her it was making it worse and should her where it was not a bump. She sanded it down and redid it. It just looks faded now on one nail. I definitely wouldn't go back.
