I loved the whole experience: the amenities before my massage were wonderful. The quiet room was very comfortable with amazing snacks (I haven’t had a plum in forever!). The sauna and hot tub were great. The shower and available accessories (brush, suit wet bag, etc) was very handy. And the massage was really incredible. I loved that I could have the whole experience from end to end.
Everything, the treatment was lovely, but when you book a massage, you expect a good massage. What makes Mandarin unique and worth going back to, is all the amenities. The robe was one of the softest I have ever felt. All the lounge and spa chairs were aerodynamic making seating at any point comfortable. I appreciated the encouragement to zen out and avoid technology in lounge, including the zen garden and other ideas on how to mediate. Last, the shower had shower cap, mist, towels, love it, no thinking and lovely. Then, in the women's locker room, anything I could have wanted I needed, the sprays, the curling iron, the dryer, hair tie, brush, everything you need that would make you come back.
Facility is very serene and beautiful. My massage therapist was very good - I got the vitality massage and she did a wonderful job with the right pressure in areas that I had identified. She was also very responsive to adjust the pressure as I requested it I was able to use the steam room and the jacuzzi after my massage and alteranted with a cold shower - was a invogarating yet relaxing afternoon. Its pricey though
Amazing spa! I’ve had Sarah twice now for deep tissue massage, she is very skilled and professional. I leave feeling the “good” type of sore; she gets the knots out & is communicative throughout the service. The facilities are relaxing and clean, the pool is hot and steam room is the best I’ve been in. The relaxation room has amazing snacks and tea. Also, the customer service is consistent and the spa is always tidied up promptly. Will always recommend & looking forward to returning soon.
The facility is very beautiful. The treatment areas are lovely. The practitioners were excellent. The support staff was friendly, polite and very well-informed. Overall is was a very good experience. The only negative was that the gentleman who showed me around the facility, although very informative and polite, but between treatments, I was in the quiet room resting with my eyes closed. He came in to show the area to a new/potential customer, which was fine, but then carried on a conversation with that person at my feet rather than taking the conversation outside of that room to continue to chat about the facility. They were not saying anything that needed to take place in that room. It was not a big deal, but it did interrupt the relaxation. Besides that, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely return.
