Reviews describe experiences that vary by treatment and practitioner. Some guests praise the massage and facial services, with individual reviewers calling out Doug for a body scrub and massage, Veronica for a facial, and Isaac for a deep-pressure massage. One customer said the scrub and massage left them feeling relaxed and refreshed; another described receiving a facial and massage during a stay at the Brown Palace. These comments may help guests decide what type of service to ask about, though individual experiences are not a guarantee of a particular result. If you have specific pressure preferences or areas of concern, explain them to the spa team before treatment.

The atmosphere is connected to the Brown Palace setting, making the spa a possible addition to a hotel stay, a Denver visit, or a planned day of self-care. Reviewers mention enjoying the spa during a stay and pairing a visit with time at the hotel. The available reviews also point to experiences that are not uniformly positive: one guest reported an unpleasant men’s lounge, a massage that increased back pain, and concerns about an added charge. The business has a 3.6 rating from 99 reviews, so it is useful to read recent feedback and confirm policies, fees, and facilities before making plans. Clear communication about comfort and pricing can help set expectations.

The Spa at The Brown Palace may suit visitors looking for a massage, body scrub, or facial in central Denver, as well as hotel guests who want to include a spa treatment in their stay. Its daily 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. hours offer a consistent window throughout the week, and its address places it at 321 17th St in Denver, Colorado. For a more comfortable visit, share your treatment preferences, ask questions about the service and any additional charges, and confirm details directly with the spa. Whether you are considering a restorative massage or a facial, the customer feedback suggests that experiences can depend on the service and practitioner, so choosing with your own needs in mind is worthwhile.

Five stars, easily. I came to The Brown Palace Spa for a body scrub and massage with Doug, and honestly, I left feeling like I had been wrapped in a warm blanket and gently reset by magic. Doug was absolutely amazing—skilled, kind, and somehow able to make me feel both completely relaxed and mildly convinced I should cancel the rest of my life and just live in the spa forever. I also loved hearing a little bit of history about the Brown Palace while I was there, which made the whole experience feel even more special and cozy. As someone who used to be an aesthetician and works in the industry, I don’t say this lightly: this was one of the most enjoyable spa experiences I’ve had. Doug was fabulous, the treatment was wonderful, and the whole visit felt like a perfect little escape with just the right amount of charm and conversation. Highly recommend

I was fortunate enough to receive one of the best facial and massage during my stay at the Brown Palace Spa in Denver. You must not miss the opportunity to pamper yourself. Request Veronica for your facial!

The men's lounge stank of sewage. One toilet wouldn't stop automatically flushing, while the other still had another person's piss in it. The massage left me with actual back pain instead of the slight stiffness I hoped it would ease. But at least they lie to you about the price, adding on a 23% ($75 in our case) service fee. The Brown Palace is supposed to be one of the premier resorts in Colorado. My wife and I were excited for a couples massage there and were glad to pay a premium to dip into some luxury for our anniversary. Instead, the event felt like a chintzy rip off. Two stars because my wife said the women's lounge was nice.

Isaac was great. As I am a man with a muscular, athletic build, it can sometimes be difficult to find a massage therapist able to go deep enough into the muscle. I appreciate his hard work on his hands and leaning in with his body. He also …

What a great place to stay. My wife and I stayed here on our anniversary. Christmas decorations were classic and beautiful. Our room was at the top of the palace. We ordered room service, ate a dinner and breakfast in the restaurants. It was delicious. Would recommend this place. The staff were top notch.
