Sign in to reviewI purchased a spa package through Travelzoo and had a wonderful experience at The Spa at The Crescent. The package included a 50-minute service of my choice (massage or facial), validated parking, and full access to the spa and fitness center amenities. I chose the massage and was very impressed with the entire experience from start to finish. The spa is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly relaxing. Upon arrival, I was provided with a plush robe, slippers, and unlimited towels. Complimentary water, hot herbal tea, and light snacks were available throughout my visit. The locker room and shower facilities were exceptionally well stocked with thoughtful amenities, including hair ties, disposable hairbrushes, hair dryers, hairspray, razors, shower caps, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and more. Everything was clean and well maintained. I enjoyed the dry sauna, steam room, cold plunge, and hot tub, all located within the women’s spa area. Before my treatment, I spent time in the Serenity Room relaxing on comfortable loungers in a peaceful atmosphere with dim lighting. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and attentive, always checking to see if I needed anything. My massage therapist was excellent and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this was a fantastic spa day and a great value through Travelzoo. The validated parking was an added bonus. I would definitely return and highly recommend The Spa at The Crescent to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing experience in Dallas.
I booked this for a birthday spa day and the experience was honestly confusing and disappointing. First, I wasn’t told ahead of time that the spa is separated into male and female areas. That completely changed the experience since the whole point was to spend time together. Second, the pricing was very unclear and inconsistent between ResortPass and the spa itself. I booked two day passes through ResortPass (about $153 total) and didn’t pre-book a massage because there was a promotion for 25% off spa services. I expected that to apply if I added a massage while there. When we added a 50-minute massage, we were charged $190 (ResortPass pricing), even though the spa’s own website lists the same service at $180. The ResortPass listing also shows that price typically includes both the massage and spa pass, but we had already paid separately for the spa passes, so the value didn’t line up. No one clearly explained how any of this pricing works, which made the whole experience feel inconsistent and misleading. At the end, there was also a 23% service charge that was presented more like a question than a clear policy, which made it confusing whether it was optional or expected. We ended up paying 15%, but the situation still felt awkward and unclear. Overall, the lack of transparency and communication made this feel disorganized and not smooth, especially for a birthday. The hot tub was probably the only part I enjoyed. I wouldn’t recommend this for a special occasion.
I tried the spa here because the Ritz was closed for remodeling. The locker room attendants were very nice and helpful. However, I wouldn’t come here again, and here’s why: this is not a five-star experience, even though the prices reflect a five-star hotel spa.The towels are very small and rough to the touch, so be prepared to feel like you’re using sandpaper after getting out of the steam room or shower. My massage was just okay. The room was noisy, and one of the overhead air conditioning fans must have had a loose screw because it kept banging throughout my service, which was very annoying. The sitting room sofa had a stain on one of the cushions, and most of the carpet needed to be steamed. I also overheard staff mentioning that the spa had recently been remodeled, but it didn’t look updated to me. The entrance looked new, but the locker room and actual spa area did not. Lastly, check that your locker actually locks—I had issues finding one with a working keypad.
This was my born day gift and what a SPA. One of the best experience. Just make sure to get there early to enjoy amenities before the the massage. They have Sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy room. My favorite was the steam room and off course the massage. So great birthday gift for someone special if you are ever in Dallas.
Meeting Rosie, was the only positive takeaway. Yesterday I came for a $245 massage. It was decent, yet all for nothing. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap afterwards & unfortunately it was full of avocado. I am severely allergic. It wasn’t listed on the menu at all. Sent me into an instant panic attack & allergy response. Spa attendant spoke minimal English. Luckily I’m. Bilingual. Ruined all the reason & for my possible benefits from the spa visit. They were also painting the walls in the communal area between the locker rooms, which wasn’t mentioned at check in. Just not as enjoyable as I’d like, for the price point of their services.
