The V Shop - Volvo Service & Repair

The V Shop - Volvo Service & Repair is an auto repair shop in Portland, Oregon, serving drivers who want a local place to bring their Volvo for maintenance and repair. Located at 1330 SW Troy St, Portland, OR 97219, the shop focuses on Volvo vehicles, from older models to newer cars. Customer feedback describes a team that takes time to check what is wrong before recommending work, an important part of making informed decisions about your car.

Reviews mention routine servicing, a 40,000-mile checkup for a Volvo S60, and repair diagnosis for an air-conditioning problem on an XC70. In one customer’s experience, the shop checked an earlier diagnosis and found a less expensive, easier-to-replace component was the source of the issue. That account points to the value of confirming a problem before proceeding with a repair. The shop’s Volvo-focused service is also a fit for owners who plan to keep a car for many years and want ongoing maintenance as mileage adds up.

Long-term customer stories include an XC90 serviced by The V Shop over the course of 250,000 miles and a 2020 XC60 with more than 100,000 miles that had also been maintained there. These are individual experiences, not a promise of a particular result, but they offer a practical picture of why some Volvo owners return over time. Reviewers also call out friendly office staff, efficient service, and flexibility around drop-off and pickup. The business has a 4.9 rating from 138 reviews in the supplied listing; experiences can vary, so drivers should discuss their vehicle’s needs directly with the shop.

The V Shop is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to noon and is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Its morning hours may suit customers who can arrange an early drop-off or plan ahead for a weekday visit. If you drive a Volvo in Portland and are looking for a repair shop with customer-reported experience across models such as the XC90, XC60, XC70, and S60, The V Shop is a local option to consider.
