Sign in to reviewI do not support businesses with poor customer service and below-standard practices. We wanted to buy a small cup of their orange sauce and were told it would cost $3. We also asked to buy extra vegetables and were told “take it or leave it” despite being basic items typically expected with the meal. Overall, the experience felt unaccommodating and disappointing. Based on the service and how we were being treated, we will not come back nor recommend this place.
I think this is on of the best pork bbq in OC. The skin is perfectly crispy and not too salty on the roasted pork. The grilled chicken is well seasoned with lemon grass and chili. Dipping sauce for it is a perfect combo. It’s the same price everywhere else but not as good food.
Don’t let the look or rating of this place scares you because it’s so much more than just a regular Vietnamese deli shop. My mom stumbled upon this store after several bad experiences with other delis around Westminster, and her experience here has been fantastic so far. They offer high-quality pork (mom-approved!), friendly and helpful staff, delicious BBQ pork with crispy skin, a must-try BBQ pork bánh mì, and so many dishes. I haven’t had such an authentic bánh mì heo quay in such a long time since moving to the U.S. from Saigon.
First time bought foods here and will be the last time. Do not buy bánh chưng or bánh tét from this place $56. I left them in the refrigerator for 2 days, when we cut the rice cake on the 2nd day of the Chinese New Year they all moldy, so grossed. I called and let the owner knows but she kept saying their foods are fresh, not even says sorry and anything. So disappointed and will never buy anything from this store again.
My friend recommended this place, so I had to drop by. Didn’t disappoint! I had their banh mi heo quay and banh mi dac biet today, very good. Best I had so far. The sauces that came with each banh mi is tasty and flavorful, paired very well. Their chao long was really good too, they gave me a lot of offal. Service was quick and pleasant. I will be back!
