Sign in to reviewIt’s one of my to go market to shop for daily cooking meals. Great market with plenty of variety choices of Asian stuffs. Their veggies & fruits can be fresh majority of the time. Meats & seafoods are great. Fresh & frozen but friendly affordable price. Staff are friendly and helpful when you ask for help. The place is big, spacious, bright, airy and easy going vibe. Cashiers can be nice and friendly but sometimes, rarely that I see them be unfriendly. Prices wise, surely beat the American markets for sure but you have to know what you're looking for. Plenty of parking since they have their own lot plus they do have fast foods stalls and shops within the shop and outside. Very convenient to shop and eat/drink afterward.
I had a very disappointing experience here today. I spent nearly $100, yet the service was shockingly poor. At the register, I noticed a can of Richin Grass Jelly was badly dented and asked for a simple exchange. The cashier, Hong, responded rudely and told me, “Nobody can go and change it for you.” Replacing damaged cans is basic safety, yet she acted as if my request was unreasonable. She also handed me only one bag for an entire $100 grocery order. I’ve never encountered customer service this unprofessional. It makes me question who is managing this location and why such behavior is allowed. I’ve included a photo of the damaged can they refused to replace. Save yourself the frustration and shop somewhere that respects its customers.
The most rude staff you will ever meet. Cashier didn’t ask me for a bag and then when I asked her at the end, she said it was too late to pay for one. I asked the manager for a bag she started screaming at me. How could you scream at customers as a manager? I was being so respectful and polite, and I get screamed at. Shame on you.
If your looking for Asian ingredients they basically have it all. They have a great seafood section. But the service is really bad. Sometimes it feels like they don’t even want to help you. There produce is always well stocked all kinds of fruits and veggies. Also they have a excellent selection of cognac.
Meat isn’t fresh. Last week, i bought 1 lbs of Ground pork to cook dumpling but they were spolied, can not eat. This was the second time i met this situation. The 1st time, i bought the fish paste and had same issue.
