The architecture and surroundings are beautiful, especially the pagoda-style building and the peaceful garden areas. The tall white statue in the garden adds a serene presence, and there are also indoor prayer spaces with a Buddha statue where you can sit quietly. Walking through the pathways, small bridges, and greenery gives a very soothing feeling. What makes this place truly special is the outdoor space. Serene and inviting to Buddhists, seekers and the merely curious this holy site is located in a perfect place trees that dampen any noise from the nearby highways The worship hall wasn't open during my visit, but the gift shop was. Other features include a lake with a meditation path, a three story pagoda style building, a very nice zen garden, a large Buddha statue and numerous plaques with Buddhist philosophy.
What a hidden gem so close to us in McKinney TX! This is a very beautiful, serene and peaceful Buddhist monastery with calming fountains (#HarshalLovesFountains) and places to reflect and meditate The staff is very welcoming and friendly The copse of trees on the grounds is very welcoming
