How did I not know about this place until now? Tibet A Gift is a true gift to the community. I meant to pop in quickly on my third stop, searching for incense...but the amount of treasures in this small home-based shop kept me there for over an hour. It also felt really good to support the family artisans that much of the shop is sourced from. I came in looking for one item and left with a full bag of goodies (one was a box of discontinued oracle cards that I had been on an unsuccessful search for years ago!). More importantly, I left with a new friend. Forgive me that I am not able to spell his name, but the store owner is as much a gem as all the wonderful items in his treasure trove. Thank you for the experience. I will be back.

Such a wonderful shop! Jampa, (the owner), is such a nice person, and as wonderful to talk to as he is kind. The shop itself is a treasure trove of discovery! So many wondrous things await in here! Do yourself a favor and check it out, and be sure to talk to Jampa too! Also: they carry Tibetan Medicine which is wonderful!

I've been meaning to write a review for a couple weeks! My boyfriend and I drove from Seattle to come check out this place (we were on the hunt for singing bowls) and this place was awesome! The atmosphere was so nice, and the owner was so helpful and kind. He had a huge selection of singing bowls straight from Nepal, and a great selection of Tibetan treasures. I almost didn't purchase a singing bowl when we first arrived because I wanted to browse around some other stores in Portland, but we ended up going back a few hours later to purchase some singing bowls and both times, he welcomed us with open arms and GREAT conversation. Such a kind and gracious man with a beautiful selection of products. We will definitely be back soon to collect some more singing bowls, if not just for an engaging conversation! Can't say enough good things about this place!! I'm so thankful to have stumbled across it!
